Funny thing I did on FM was hire Ben foster for Sunderland as the assistant manager I got sacked with 6 games to go to achieve playoffs. Ben foster gets 6 games in charge wins 3 draws 1 loss 2 wins but sadly lost in the playoff semis and released at the end of the season. I took him to Ipswich with me and after I left he became there full time manager.

​@@markwalker2627Rowett had a plan with Burke that just didn't work and most of us could have told him that. Rotherham was a tough game, yes we should be beating them but I had that down as a draw. Rotherham were only losing matches narrowly and winning and drawing other matches. Then new manager bounce Steve Evans made it doubly difficult. The reasons we went down was obviously Rooney but then we still had a chance to save ourselves. So the latter reasons were bad referee decisions like a hand ball goal for Hull so we got a draw instead of win, and in the next game under Venus was another terrible decision against us. However overall it was a mistake selecting Venus and not bringing Rowett in earlier. Rowett recorded 11 points from 8 games, which is 63 points over 46 games.
