John wont remember this, but I met him years ago when he was with the Pistons. He had a home in an exclusive area of Detroit (Palmer Woods), and was in several businesses, including music. He had an event at his house where one of his acts was putting on a show. My Sister was doing AnR for him and knew I was a huge Pistons fan, so she invited me. That night I met quite a few of the Pistons who were there. John asked us both to come to his office. The details of the conversation were mostly business related, but I do remember is how genuine he was, even back then. He gave me a tour of the home, and was extremely welcoming. To this day I remember that evening, and I wanted to Thank him for being the only athlete that I met who came across as a real person other than a friend of mine I would meet later who played for the Dallas Cowboys. Thanks John; Much Appreciated.

It's now fact that dietary cholesterol does NOT effect the bodies cholesterol levels. I'm not saying eating meat all day is good for us but a 3 to 4 oz piece of meat is not bad 1x a day. Eating good quality meat that is grass FINISHED and organic is not bad for the body in moderation. Chicken and beef broth especially can fix the joints and tissues just like his stem cells do.

NBA players dying early has more to do with very tall heights, although diet and perhaps drug use can come in to play and exacerbate it.
@seanking6184
@seanking6184 3 жыл бұрын
Hard to say it’s just height when there’s loads who are in their 70s and 80s Bedsides, there wasn’t enough people over 6ft 5 + several decades ago to quantify that?
@lemiphil2388
@lemiphil2388 2 жыл бұрын
You're right, it has to do with all of those factors but it differs for each death on a case by case basis. Generally extremely tall people have heart issue because their body is big and it takes a toll on their heart to pump to all parts of the body especially the extremities but diet also contributes with most basketball players coming from a background that consumes high fat and calories. The drugs they consume also doesn't help.

I remember watching the episode of "I'm A Celebrity....Get Me Out Of Here!" where John Salley realized that going vegan is a good idea. On that show they went 30 days with no meat and the light bulb went of head. Watching him and hearing him talk about it I tried it and lost 30 lbs in 3 weeks.

E Derrell It's just like the difference between a luxury car and a regular price car. The thing that is more quality will cost more than just the regular thing which is somewhat less in quality. So they want you to pay more for your health and everything is about money anyway.

Quila Quila lol that simple. We all can grow food but we choose the faster route. Why grow a garden when your local grocery store already has it? Every one sees this and go crazy, now these companies have to push out massive amounts of it. How do you do that? You modify it(gmo, pesticides), so it can grow faster, the faster it grow that faster we eat it up. Eventually this becomes daily life and it will keep getting worst if we allow it. It cost literally nothing to grow. Your own veggies. A nice piece of soil, some light, water and love and there goes your vegan food that they claim we can’t afford!

these guys talking about vegan eggs,, and eating vegan, notice alot of people that take on this style of living usually are quite wealthy or doing pretty good for themsleves.. eating vegan eggs or buying from a shop is like 3 times the price of regular eggs and its not sold in good portions. they can feed for maybe 2-4 servings. if you got kids and not making good money thats alot of money to buy decent food. even the vegan patties are expensive... the style of life for someone vegan is expensive. i happen to live like that cause i have no dependants. if i had kids and stuff with my salary i may have been eating poorly as well.
