Love seeing this again. Thanks for posting. I was at this show and I can honestly say it was one of the most smokin, pure, all out wailing guitar playing I've ever seen Sco play! He was on fire the whole night. Marcus King was also really great on the tunes he sat in on. And Kraz and the rest of Soulive don't need anything said cause they always sound incredible. Really hope they do another Bowlive in 2019 since they took off 2018!!

Don't appreciate Sco's style at all. His bends are hardly ever in tune! Give me kareoke instead.

Music Master John Scofield played with the Master Miles Davis for three years producing with him 3 masterpiece fusion jazz albums. He had replaced Master John McLaughlin. Master Miles had ideally wanted Jimmy Hendrix to play with him but Jimmy self destructed before he could joined Miles who had promised to pay his way through the Juliiard School of Music. Milers had studied there and apprentishiped after ours with Charlie Parker and graduated. So saying that Scofield's ''black'' bass player does not know how to play is racist. To say that John himself is playing out of key is absurd. This set is a living memorial to Jimmy Hendrix and John does some incredible playing and is clearly in contact with the Mater Jimmy Hendrix's spirit. The drummer sings the Joe lyrics as if he too had contacted the Master Hendrix's spirit. Some people are unaware when seeing and hearing musical Masters live like these sho they are _ everyone on that stage is a Musical Master. It is probably best they listen to karioke as when they see musicians recorded playing live their racist values expsoe themselves and their envy of what they can not do becomes apparent. .
