This is the first time I have seen Venice painted as I would like to see her in my heart, although I have seen wonderful other paintings of Venice. Thank you.

Miles - it must have been a very difficult to return home once you tasted the light of Venice. Great video - thank you for sharing it.

These are more alive than any photo! Our proximity with the subject brings us close to the people and these people have life! Thank you for the upload and the lovely music too.

Would have been great to look at the pictures as a whole instead of zooming in and out.

The repeated eighth notes in the music are totally the wrong articulation. Is the accompaniment digital?

I find these wondedful; they are so inaccurate but there-in lies the skill and the magic. He captures character in a few strokes and light drips from his paintbrush, Robin Witting

You could lose the red lettering over the paintings as it isn't part of the compositions. Otherwise great job, thanks.

beautiful document, and no opinionated snot pontificating over the music...the legend in red is redundant and distracting, though

Thanks for the note. I agree with you about the red. I gave a lecture on Vivaldi at Crystal Bridges Museum in my hometown of Bentonville AR. This KZbin was used as people arrived in the great hall before the lecture began so it seemed appropriate under that situation. (The museum has a couple of Sargent pieces.) I put it on KZbin as a convince for the tech person at Crystal Bridges for that one time lecture event. But...people seemed to enjoy it so I left it up. You can check out one of my Vivaldi pieces for Choral Journal at acda.org//files/choral_journals/FishMay15.pdf

Jiggle the cut-up scraps of paintings so we can't see those scraps...and never ever show a whole painting. What a waste of good (?) intentions.

There are many superior watercolours here of the city; I'm not so keen on those items that focus close up on people as they are too fussed over, with his over-abundance of facility getting in the way and cheapening the overall effect. I wish someone would separate out from his hundreds of oil paintings his many other spectacular watercolours from other locations. I don't need the romance of Venice to sell me on his brilliance with watercolours and I don't enjoy the negativity that his oil painting style provokes in me.
