If you want people to have jobs your primary focus should be on providing jobs to them but most importantly meeting their basic needs such as healthcare, housing, food and education. This empowers people making them less exploitable and able to bargain a higher pay from the owner class. Edit: P.S. I believe it is simpler than we all think. A simple uncorrupt balanced government with elements of capitalism for investment and socialism to uplift people out of poverty will still propel us forward at break neck speed. The only issue is corruption in the state halting progress. Why did inequality deepen after 30 years? Firstly, our population boomed. We were 43 million in 1994. Now 62 million. Our economy just has not kept track with the amount of people entering the workforce. Secondly, the state rapidly created wealth for a select few instead of taking the considerable amount of tax they do receive to broadly empower the people. That is what just further drives inequality.

You are aware, of course, that the corrupt factions in the ANC will push seriously against DA oversight of Police and Justice? So much so, that they would suggest rather joining with the EFF or MK?
@juliah19327 ай бұрын
I hope DA does do a coalition with ANC for the country its is the best, everyone keeps on saying they want change but the moment there is a possibility for change people don't want change, in all honesty MK is not change it will bring more corruption, EFF is not change, when the boarders will open and unfortunately for south africans there is already no jobs for us imagine what things will look like when the boarders are open. In my honest opinion, DA will be a good candidate because just look at towns that are run by DA, the roads are clean, there are few potholes, there is more jobs, there is no surrage running down the streets. If south Africans truly want change you need to think about how the other parties have run previously and what there main objectives are now.

How does one believe a party who has had posters saying, "Nail them and jail them" With the words nail and jail in blue and the words them in black. So, in other words, the ones that must be nailed and jailed are blacks, and the ones doing the nailing and jailing are whites? Does that sound like a party that judges you by the content of your character, or is it a party that judges based on your skin colour?
