Looking back on Tavares' return to Long Island four years later is a little embarrassing for me even though I wasn't at the game. Obviously I felt like a million bucks the next day at school after crushing the Leafs. I was definitely crushed and heartbroken when he signed with Toronto but the sun did come up the next day. Life goes on and the Islanders gave us incredible memories in the 2019, 2020, and 2021 playoffs. Pretty good consolation prize for him leaving.

I remember when this first happened i watched it at my brother in law's place. My nephew who was seven at the time asked me whay I was watching and when I told him he asked if he could watch as well. I had to tell him he couldn't because of the amount of swearing.
