What a night! One of the most emotional, intense, and energetic games I've ever been to. The boys are back!

Ok as a Rangers fan, this brought me tears of joy. The islanders belong on long Island at the nassau colesium. I admire the endurance of this franchise and fanbase. I thought for sure they would have been in Quebec by now

The NHL is an absolute joke. The league wouldn’t let them play every home game there until the second pandemic shortened season in 2020-21. The two arena circus was just ridiculous. Yet Gary Bettman is allowing the Coyotes to play in a 5,000 SEAT COLLEGE ARENA for probably five plus seasons!! The renovated Nassau Coliseum was able to seat 13,900 fans for hockey games. The Coyotes should’ve been moved to Quebec City at the end of the 2021-22 season. But I am glad we now have UBS Arena. There’s a few other teams that desperately need a new arena. The Flames are a team that instantly comes to mind. The Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary is 40 years old and is falling apart.

Even though they didn’t win a cup this year I still consider this to be one of my favorite islanders teams I call them “The Miracle Islanders” because they were supposed to be a “bad” team. The stories that this team brought up like Robin Lehner, Barry Trotz turn around, the defense, sweeping the Pens, winning their first game back at the coli, etc. It was truly a miraculous season.

I have a feeling the return to Fort Neverlose is gonna be a mini era in Isles history. Regular deep playoff runs, the team being a well oiled machine… and it almost all seemed to fall apart they moment they moved into UBS.

I was there and my seats were so good and I lost my voice. Then on 2/28 I lost my voice again. This is natural for me and will never stop. I love the stuff. We are back HOME at the Barc. I went to this and the last game before during the playoffs against the caps. Boy oh boy both games were crazy.

I am crying that the emotion could not continue in round two. We could have won that series. Unfortunately we did not but somehow the barn was rocking. Frost: Owner Charles Wang failed to secure public financing to rebuild the old, dilapidated Nassau Coliseum back in 2011 when Nassau County residents turned down a referendum for a general bond obligation to pay for the renovations, which would have increased county residents' property taxes by 4% if approved. A large part of that had to due with a lack of an enthusiastic fan base for the team - which largely disappeared after the Islanders won 4 straight Stanley Cups from 1979-1983.

This backwards organization. Doormats since 1994, leave the Coliseum, ice is torn up, go to Barclays that sucks for hockey, Coliseum revamped and Isles go back on a part time schedule while still at Barclays and while Belmont Arena is underway. What a bunch of tools.
