It's so pleasing to see a small franchise like John Wick turning into a global phenomenon and getting the appreciation it rightfully deserves. It all started with a stuntman creating a film about an assassin avenging a puppy which slowly blows into a full-blown franchise showing us a different kind of underworld. Absolutely brilliant.

​​@@ashtro5545 yes, part 1 was actually a small budget movie and was expected to go directly to dvd. Keanu Reeves too wasn't as popular then and was considered a product of the late 90s. As the first part became a sleeper hit it launched Reeves into stardom again and so did Wick as a franchise.

I've always liked JW 1, 2, and 3. But I will watch this movie not coz of Keanu, Donny but only coz of Scott Adkins 😊. The most complete fighter of the world 😅. He is extremely underrated when it comes to fight scenes.

Is film mein itna tension aur suspsen bhara pada huan tha that even when the management at Osaka came out with his boys just to greet Marquis's men it felt like some big ass battle is gonna break out. And the costume and color palette? My god don't get me started with it. Red and Black for Japan, Black and Warm for Germany and saturated Blue for NY? Shizzz, what a film broda. (Chor nilak k bhaga) It may not be an exceptionally well written thriller. But during the course of the movie you never get bored. It keeps you at the edge of the seat all the time. You can feel the twist and turns and direction justifies the written source. Yami Gautam and Kaushal and all the extras are exceptionally well in this film. it's a must watch.❤

Not an action movie fan but boy I love JW series. It's not just an action movie but a solid story backing it up. With each sequel it just gets better. The way they built the world of underworld with rules and all was very convincing and intriguing. I love JW's character. He is not a cold broody man but a softie at heart takes revenge when backstabbed, barely speaks and when he does you can see how polite and naive he is. I liked JW4 needless to say. I found the same issues of action overkill what you stated and JW being a cat of 9 lives haha! I don't want another sequel even though I am a huge fan. It ended perfectly where it should have. John is finally at peace after earning his freedom and tbh this is the type of freedom an assassin like him can get on his own terms.

To elaborate, for chor nikal ke bhaga, I will agree with some points of Shan but there are some loop holes in that film, maybe it's better than other bollywood thrillers but still it's not something mind blowing when they come up with the explanation at last. It takes a typical bollywood turn/twist. For me, I was left with so many questions by the movie ends. The explanation wasn't enough for everything done in the climax. It was just like a bollywood movie fr.
