He's the absolute coolest celebrity and actor that's not at all an like a celebrity or actor. He's like your best, awkward friend that other people worship and you don't understand because he's a good old friend. I was really surprised by the movie. The action was top notch. The fight scenes were really good! Good story. Keanu nailed down the character I think. I think this might be a start of a franchise!

In the words of Alex Trebek, “You are correct!” 😁 John Wick 3 is scheduled for release May of 2019, and there are also plans for a spin-off tv series about the Underworld society from the movies, though the plan is that Reeves will just do cameos for the television series rather than being a central focus. Tell you what, though-I am absolutely stoked to see the third film! Heck, I haven’t even seen the second film in full yet; I’ve been busy analyzing and writing and talking about the first film, because it alone has so much to appreciate and discuss! But I recently purchased both of the available films, and can’t wait to finally watch Chapter 2 properly, since I’ve only seen the bits and pieces I’ve caight from tv. Have watched the first film three times now, though: The first time to take notes about all the great things that caught my attention, the second time purely as a thrilled audience member, and the third time to listen to the directors’ commentary. ^_^ And I was super excited to find out that Keanu is in the commentary for the second film!

Keanu is an amazing actor. All that work he had to do to get ready for this role. The movie was so fun to watch because of him. A great script, new style of shooting, wonderful music and clever editing.....the movie John Wick has it all. And it sure doesn't hurt that Keanu is handsome and sexy.

I agree on all counts! Ps. The interviewer said “a couple,” but it was actually four months that Keanu spent training for this role, 8 hours a day, 5 days per week. The man has a crazy work ethic, and I was so impressed hearing what he had done and his ability to do so much of his own action and stunt work. ^^ And it was essential to the way the film was shot and why they could give such gorgeous choreography!

He and the other actors were also able to give phenomenal performances under very difficult circumstances; he did the VIP room & balcony sections of the Red Circle sequence while ill with the flu and running a high-grade fever from it. Plus it was winter and severely cold during that final scene with himself and Michael Nyqvist, and the directors noted that most stuntmen wouldn’t even have been able to handle those working conditions during the days across which that section was filmed. They were genuinely worried about Reeves’ and Nyqvist’s well-being!

Really loved this movie. I agree that is one of the best action movies in a long while. Just a good old action movie. It was weird though because I didn't hear or see anything about this movie before or even after it came out. It was on HBO and honestly from the description it sounded a bit boring. I decided to watch it and thought it sort of just pass the time. Turned out that it kept my attention and I absolutely loved it.
