Saw this movie yesterday,27th March, she just knocked this out the ball park , totally AWESOME.. She is not only a musican and singer,she is surely an action star. She was in total control of the phyiscal and the emotional part of her charactor. Her charactor was strong, giving the Samurai , warrior code in full depth. Her presence on the big screen so powerful. Her commitment to the phyiscal traing showed so strong. Thank you Rina san for incrediable fighting skills and screen presence.

If someone told me she was in the movie before I saw it I would have been a little sceptical, but I knew nothing at all about it before I saw it and she absolutely killed it, she was pretty much my favourite character. I really hope she does more action acting.

this could be like a hugh jackman as wolverine moment. seemed like a weird casting choice at first glance, but she actually kills it. shes got the all of the physicality of an action star. an action star has to convey character in the action scenes and shes really got that down.

But it’s weird to give the role to someone who isn’t an actor, yeah? Like that’s not strange to you whatsoever? Your Rock example doesn’t work at all, since not only did he act while wrestling, but he pursued a career in acting. Rina had no interest in becoming an actor, yet was approached for the role (a major role btw. This is a significant role in a John Wick movie. It’s a far cry from the first role in Hollywood The Rock got.)
