@ChrisM5412 жыл бұрын
He's an incredible technical virtuoso, however, there is some valid criticism regarding his lack of "feeling" and emotion when playing. A perfect example would be the comparison of playing styles with Julian Bream (who recorded with John many times). However, we don't want artists to sound the same - that would be infinitely dull. John and Julian complemented each other perfectly, having their own unique style.
@claudiosolaresMMX Жыл бұрын
@@thethirdman225 so you think a computer reading music will play with feeling? I have rarely read such a ridiculous statement. Feeling is something that comes from the heart and soul, and not every musician has it. Who do you think loses in guitar competitions? Those who have no musical content to convey. Technique is a given , but only those who move the judges with true feeling win.

@NotoriousFunk Жыл бұрын
@@spiritanimal8836 hmmmm not to sound as a professor but no, it's not a tremolo, it's a triplets part on 3 different strings. Tremolo doesn't take years to master, you only have to understand the mechanic and prepare each fingers. If people study it without mechanical consciousness of the fingers it may take years or even worst they will never be able to play the tremolo. Personally I don't like too much John Williams on the Spanish music, while he is one of the best on Bach but he for sure have one of the best right hand ever, every movement he does is smooth only using the weight of the finger and not the muscles. John is a real guitar master

Muchas gracias.
@atiliocarlosborsani2473 жыл бұрын
