Cinema classics like Star Wars, Indiana Jones and Harry Potter owe a big part of their timeless success to the music of John Williams. His soundtracks captivate listeners with thrilling, moving themes and a tremendous range of atmospheres and sounds. John Williams made his debut with the Berliner Philharmoniker at a series of sold-out concerts last week in October 2021, and Deutsche Grammophon was there to capture this historic event which will be released on several audio and audiovisual formats for Maestro’s 90th Birthday in February 2022.

Yes. But there a few great descendants to fill his footsteps. Michael Giacchino for example who already proved with Jurassic World and Rogue One that He can hit Johns Style. Hans Zimmer, Alan Silvestri are also very great genuis.

yes, indeed. But everyone will die - soon, or later. His tremendous legacy and heritage however will remain with us and the next generations. Imagine, we are still listening to Mozart or Vivaldi 250-300 years later and for centuries to come, their heritage certainly will represent the best of humanity produced. I am sure, Williams will be also among these few dozens from billions.

Even listening to this with my eyes closed I can still clearly see Christopher Reeve as Superman. He is Superman, no one else comes close. That, with a John Williams score is a recipe for perfection.

When I hear this, I don't picture seeing Superman, I feel what Superman sees. Flying through the sky, seeing the different shades of the clouds. Seeing the Suns glow. Seeing all the stars. Seeing Lois Lane's eyes sparkle when she shares the experience. Leaping over mountains. Getting a taste of what's it's like to be a Guardian Angel really. It's a taste of God's power.
