Quien no se conmueva con esta música, es que no tiene sangre en el cuerpo. Esta composición es hermosa, y llega al alma...

Nothing captured the fear of losing one's parent like this. The slow, mourning lullaby that you realize will not be there forever. I'm still not ready to say goodbye to my mom. I suppose no one ever is. But it is likely that, if I have a final moment with her, surrounded by family, somewhere from inside my mind will be playing this melody. I'm sure of it. Thank goodness for John Williams.

It was devastating to watch that precious little boy just try to win back his mother's love. The music made me weep for him. When Reunion starts and David is back with his mother, I just have the lyrics "Forever, For Always" running through my head. Reunion and Where Dreams Are Born may be my two most favorite composition by John Williams, although I love so many.

Yes! And I wonder why we don’t celebrate his greatness as much as he deserves. This score was brilliant and he also did so many other scores for movies that were just brilliant and memorable - and hauntingly beautiful

Probably my favorite soundtrack of all time. Not sure that the movie would have had the same sentimental impact without this music. I lost my mother at an early age, so there are two scenes that cause "watery eyes" for me: the whole interaction with the blue fairy when he finally meets her ending with the "now you can bring her back, can't you?" and the entity orders to "give him what he wants". And of course the end scene, it is such a strong scene, so perfect, even the "Teddy climbing and seating on the bed" touch, mesmerizing. Osment should have at least been nominated for the Oscar, I am still impressed to this day by his acting in this movie, I love it when he gets off the frozen helicopter, just incredible acting.

Just my observation here, the few remaining moments of Spielberg's A. I.is John Williams best. It is recorded as a piano piece and a choral solo and a cello solo. All are absolutely beautiful. My heart is in my throat as I listen. But then, he does that oh, so often.

Such beautiful music from a genius composer, John Williams. His soundtrack imbued this wonderful film with such wonderful nuances that enhanced the film throughout. For me this film is special in so many ways; melancholic, sad, yearning, hopeful, and ultimately a beautiful though deeply heartbreaking ending. A beautiful film with beautiful music.

Epic. My fav of all time. Incredibly beautiful in its sensitivity and emotion. I dream to write such a pretty, emotional and touching piece of music. This piece had me visiting my childhood past and it went thru me like an arrow and does every time I experience it. It's not just music. It's musical perfection.

I love that this score is so different from his other scores (based on the subject matter). It’s,slow and sad and has this great melancholy to it and it really does stir up things and put ps me in another place more so than most of his other scores.

@@wam44 haha, well, same, but the last time I watched it, I was around 10, I think, so I'm not entirely sure as to to what extent nostalgia has played a role in shaping the favourable view I have of this work. I'm afraid some of its magic will be lost upon a rewatch

@@euomu Oh, I don't know-It was magical for me and I didn't watch the film until I was in my mid 40's at least...I agree though nostalgia when I see certain films and especially music is strong for me. The film touched some deep emotions for sure.

There's a certain sadness and hope and love. As a little boy I was totally in to Star Wars I quickly understood who John Williams wore. The first movie it literally was 1.5 years on our greatest cinema, I saw it least 17 times. Hence John Williams I always have a heart for him. Good man as you said; look at his eyes ❤
