Nah, I'd bet on her habit was getting too expensive for her bartender job and she was attempting to make a ton of money in just a few weeks. These guys make tens of thousands in just a few weeks of work. It's extremely hard and brutal work but if you can cut it...you can make a year salary in just weeks of work instead of having to work all year.

thank you. I believe a lot of these guys use but only a select few (ex. Elliott) had such a glaringly obvious problem and were in rehab multiple times and so were held up as an example on the show. This girl is a lesser but another one of those "examples." The rest of them keep it in hand enough to keep it quiet. They make sure they bring enough of whatever they use to go the whole trip.

When I had sea sickness in the navy (100% sucked) the first week I could not do a thing, but after I strapped a plastic bag to my side (I threw up a lot) and understood if I looked at the horizon I felt better I did better.

Easy, in addiction you are often trying to stretch what you got as long as you can. In her case she knew she didn't have enough for the whole trip so going sick a few days then using is a move sometimes users will make as being sick 2 days then using and being sick another 2 days after is gonna be a lot better than 4 days straight nothing. Buuut there is the chance someone else on board is using too

I’ve been through alcoholic withdrawal. To the point of being rushed to the hospital. I couldn’t imagine going through withdrawals in the middle of the sea with no options. That would be horrible.
