"Happy is he who operates in his/her gift; miserable is he who tries to copy and operate in another's gift".....very apt.

This is great. Late last year I realised that i wasnt as lukewarm in my faith as i thought, i was actually freezing cold 😂! I have so many gifts but i wasnt using 1 to glorify God. The art I was making The books I was writing The songs I was singing The dances I was dancing You wouldn't even know I was Christian had you seen my work. I decided I was going to give my whole self to the Lord and stop serving the World with my gifts. I haven't drawn anything since I did this except 1 picture of Jacob's ladder Have written 2 songs for God so far I've switched completely the music i listen to & sing- worship music only & im in the church band And now I practice kids worship dances 😂 ((im gonna be a kids camp leader!)) Its not much but hopefully I can keep it up and be inspired more by the Bible to draw & paint. I am worried that im wasting my gifts & talents by not being as productive with them as I was before but at least i'm not being proactive in using them negatively like before 😭! I think i just need more opportunities & inspo

Another solid sermon, and laughed when you said you would have laughed someone out of the room for your writing. I play worship music on piano on the streets often, and I feel like through busking is how God provides for me, I was able to get multiple vehicle's cause of busking and soon will be paying for my aviation courses. I try to thank God every day for these abilities.

@@JohnBevereTV John I fully embrace everything that you are saying on this video. In fact, I am going through your series- gifted right now. But what do you do when you are a part of church that does not give you any opportunity to excel, grow, invest in the gift , that has been entrusted to you ? A lot of times we are dealing with church leadership and find ourselves sometimes in the mercy of the lead pastor that may either acknowledge your gift or not. I’m sure this is a challenge to many Christians, who want to be a vessel for the Lord, and use the gifts that God has given them but they are not given any platform to use it. I know that the word of God says that your gift will make room for you, but sometimes in a church setting , it does not always happen that way. It’s either that leadership does not acknowledge it or give you any platform to use it. What do you do in a situation like this?

Even if you don't like to show off people will still compliment you on things you are good at. Your gifts are basically strengths that have been confirmed repeatedly by other people. I believe God always orchestrates events and situations for us to realize our gifts whether we want to use them or not. You can be interested in things that you aren't necessarily gifted in.

How can you have gifts if you have the MOTB. There is no ministry because of the MOTB. You can only minister to those sealed by God that are going through tribulation. You cant minister to those with the spiritual MOTB because even repentance is null and void as Satan cannot forgive sins!!!
