I really needed this confirmation. ❤. I left my church after calling out doctrine and behavior that was leading people astray. I was called a Pharisee so I parted ways with the church. I have been fighting myself with my decision and have wanted to go back to the church and apologize, but I don’t want to be a hypocrite. So I’m on my own now. I recently found a new church that is Bible based and I am realizing this video confirms that I’m in the right place.

There is a difference between thoughts and intents of the heart (Heb. 4:12). We can have the correct intension but our thoughts betray us because it is contrary to the word of God (Gal. 5:17). Many preachers, prophets, teachers, laymen start off with the right intension but soon are led astray by their own lust of power, greed, fame, recognition and pride (which Satan exploits). They may never of had pure motives, difficult to say, their fruit will bear witness however it may take time to recognize the fruit as being good or bad. One of my favorite books by John Bevere is "Thus Saith The Lord". It doesn't get as much accolades as his other books, probably because of the subject matter, but nonetheless a great book. I really appreciate John Bevere's ministry I have learned so much from him.

Hi John, thank you for your willingness to approach this topic, I pray that the Lord will continue to use you and your family, but I also pray for His protection over you all. A few days ago the Holy Spirit led me to feel a glimpse of His heartbreak because of how many Christians live Christianity without God. Just like in the garden of Eden, God will have us always be put in front of a choice the tree of Life (relationship with Him) or the tree of Knowledge(worldly centered wisdom, self help). Sadly many Christians are being deceived and are regularly feeding themselves from the Tree of Self Help and call it God's will, in this way pursuing what they think is a good thing and serves God, instead of seeking God for guidance. Please prayerfully consider and ask God if this might be something that you can discuss at some point

33:30 - Self-appointment for Ministry happened in the OT, and in the NT. One common aspect that denotes the both is that individuals choose man's will over God's will. OT self-appointment was based on earthly heritage, and other attributes, whilst in Jesus time, it was a based around political groups in Jerusalem (pharisees & sanhedrin). Today, we can see self appointment occurring at our churches and by church organisations. Appointment for ministry should be spiritually guided by the Holy Spirit and not done hastily. 1 Timothy 5,22 (AMP) Do not hurry to lay hands on anyone [ordaining and approving someone for ministry or an office in the church, or in reinstating expelled offenders], and thereby share in the sins of others; keep yourself free from sin.

I was crushing HARD and his personality was just drawing me in and I was like he is everything I dream of 🙂↕️ Lies 🙄🤦🏾♂️ Then one day I heard him having the same chatty loud convos with another girl and I was HURT 😂 I cried for days 😂 And I was mad at God 😅 Don't ask me why 🤦🏾♂️ By the way before I came here I was hearing I will find my husband here so I thought it gotta be him, and so in my mind he was already stepping out from our marriage 😂😂😂 Anyway after a few days of just being a whole mess and I was starting to get my life together I had a dream I was in a bus, I demanded the driver to stop so I could get off and he told me no but your stop is ahead we're not there yet, next thing I was walking in this dusty road with HUGE pot holes filled with muddy water so much you can't see the depth of it but in my dream head I knew if I stepped in I'd drown cause they so deep, I was holding on to a rope as I try to navigate the potholes and I woke up. I just knew what God was saying and I was like when will I ever learn to just trust God right off the bat 🤦🏾♂️ After that dream I start seeing things after things about him, how much of a drunk he is, he was actually having a fling with this girl (she has a bf we see him all the time), then I saw him walking out his "real" gf and him and this girl that lives here don't talk anymore or sneak into each other's rooms anymore etc All I'm saying is I don't know how I ever lived without these convictions and warning from God. (I didn't live, God had to tell me Talitha koum when he came to save me because that's how dead I was. Cool salvation story for another day) They are EVERYTHING!!! God bless ❤

May God have mercy and I thank Him for the various gifts in the body of Christ. I am a lay person when it involves the gospel but I am also God's child and therefore God speaks to me. I study, pray and read my bible with all fervency and God's anointing. I pray that He keeps me from idols and deception. I also pray that He provides what I need to serve Him acceptably. I pray that He keeps me from the love of money by giving me what I am capable of stewarding. It is good to receive blessings as long as they do not come between us and God. The love of money is the root of all evil. God is good, kind and merciful. He did not come to condemn the world but to save it. It seems sufficient to collect an offering as instructed in the bible. I use the word collection instead of resorting to a "prosperity teaching." I just think prosperity appeals to the flesh and to people who want to use the gospel for financial gain. Ultimately God is our final judge and He will tell us where to go.

I hope that you would keep and follow through one line of consistent ideas or line of thought. It’s like you’re on a line of reasoning but then your son interrupts you (or you interrupt yourself) and then switch thoughts or switch your line of reasoning. When you are on a path stay on that path until the end. it’s like you’re on this beautiful path of reasoning and suddenly it’s abandoned. I can’t get anything from this if you just abandoning the line of reasoning you are on. If you can’t take a line of reasoning to the very end, it’s not gonna have any meaning. This is a problem that I am having not just here, but in other arenas. However, you are the first preacher that I’ve listened to and really caught my attention, but then it suddenly dropped off and there’s nothing left for me to hang onto!

Sad so many people don't read the Bible. Actually study the word while praying and asking God questions and letting him lead you to the answers through the word and honorable men and women of God. People need to stop only getting your learning from a pastor, your Christian friend or social media clips. Stop just taking their word for it. When I hear truth it is confirmed in my heart only because I have word and the Holy Spirit in me. But when you're clueless you're swayed like a leaf in the wind. Pray for understanding before you read the word and ask God questions. Every message you hear go back and read the scriptures. You'll get more out of the word because there are things you are pondering in your heart. I was one of those believers. So I'm in no way being insulting. It has changed my life and I'm no longer afraid of false teachings. But I'm careful.

Within the weekly assembly and congregational meetings, only men who have one wife and who rule their households well are authorized to rule in God's churches as leaders. Women can prophecy at the gate of weekly assembly, speak and prophecy in meetings in the home, and evangelize. Older women are also commanded to teach younger women. Godly headship. (1 Corinthians 11, v. 3) "But I want you to know that the head of every man is Christ, the head of woman is man, and the head of Christ is God."
@jorty.2 ай бұрын
Dear LilRavenWolf, you will hear mostly from conservative protestants and Catholics that women aren't allowed to run a ministry etc. They butcher the interpretation of many verses and call every woman who opposes their views feminists. Funny enough many men of God got also a revelation that women can lead ministries. Do they call them feminists too? I usually laugh when men think God is impressed with 'gender' to do His work on earth😊. As if your sex makes you more spirit led than others. I studied this topic and still do a lot and would recommend you two books: Bob Edwards Apostle's Warning and Jay Eldon Epp 'Junia the first woman apostle'. Bob Edwards also has a workshop course on his website 'awakedeborah' with a book, going much deeper on the verses dealing with man vs woman and 'head of' and authority and women teaching men. Also Marg Mowczko, specialised in early Jewish and Christian studies, has a great blog on these matters. She is born again and led by the Holy Spirit. Also her comment thread is interesting to read as one can find pearls in there by other spirit filled christians as well. I can write a lot about it but go study yourself and be encouraged.

I'm a Seer with over 27 years of experience in the prophetic. The subject of false prophets can be complex and difficult to discern but here's my take. Years back I asked God about false prophets and he gave me a dream that night. In the dream I walked in a book store and saw many books on shelves with the covers exposed. On the covers of these books were faces of people many I could recognize. All these books were about self help and so on. Then I heard a loud voice shout saying IT'S THE ANOINTING THAT BREAKS THE YOKE!. I awoke from the dream with understanding. God was saying many will claim to have the anointing that will break your yoke, whatever that my be like health wellness prosperity money ect. False Prophets are literally snake oil salesman. False Prophets are in the church just as much as in the world. Some deceive knowingly while others deceive unknowingly. The false prophets who deceive unknowingly are worse for they believe what they do is good and come across sincere and confident. But no matter how much you expose these false prophets and having evidence to back up your claim people will still follow those false prophets. I can tell which prophets in the church are false and some you might believe but others you would be offended at the notion.

the anointing is on the Word of God. If it’s not Gods Word it’s not the anointing. So many teachings of men that confuse and mislead people. Read the Word and you will know the truth!

I so appreciate these pod casts. This one in particular is such an important topic. I had the privilege of reading your book "Thus Saith The Lord" about 20 years ago. It really impacted me as a young man, because the Lord was revealing the same to me. He was showing me how so many in the charismatic realm are not just false prophets, they are literally receiving the devil himself as an angel of light. The majority of the charismatic/prophetic movement is not of God. It's so saddening. But this podcast is truth, prophets are there for our "upbuilding" (1 Cor 14:3), and so many stop there in understanding the purpose of a prophet. But in the very same chapter Paul continues to expound that they are there to "convict" (1 Cor 14:24-25). If people would just know the entire word of God, they'd not be deceived. If God is unchanging, then His prophets will be the same today as they were in the OT. And the #1 thing they were commissioned to do is to rebuke and chasten for sin. We also have false prophets who chastise those who should not be, who struggling, and yet make out the rest of the sinful body as being so holy and right with God. Many times though, we'll also see false doctrine on the other side, believing that our holiness saves us. Holiness is a fruit, not a seed. Faith is the seed, which, over time will produce more and more fruit. To judge/condemn those who are struggling with addictions or whatever is sooooo terrible it's mind blowing as well. Jesus came to heal those who are sick.

False teaching also fails in its inability to produce unity (1 Timothy 6:4-5). The word battles of false teachers result in chaos and confusion. “Envy” is the inward discontent with the advantages or popularity enjoyed by others. It results in “strife,” which often manifests itself in the “abusive language” of slander and insult. The net result of false teaching is “constant friction.” False teachers constantly rub each other the wrong way. That helps spread their spiritual disease, much as sheep might rub together and infect each other. False teaching can never produce unity. Only the truth unifies.

Don’t be surprised when you send your kids to Caesar, that they come back Romans…. I for one don’t want this government raising my children. Our 6 children go to a homeschool hybrid, we homeschool them 2-3 days, then they go to a private Christian academy 2-3 days. It’s a way WAY better system than what I grew up with in public school. And it lines up with the two days my wife works as an RN. The days we homeschool, the kids do their work quick and then work with me the rest of the day farming, training tracking hounds for clients, and fixing up our rental units. The school has small business fairs teaching kids the skills to make their own businesses. Almost daily our kids are dreaming up new ideas and they’re excited about them, at a young age!!! Instead of our kids playing video games all day and gaining a false sense of accomplishment, they can get the same or better dopamine dump when achieving real accomplishments! Praise God this is an option for my house

Easy to spot: 1. They want money & 2. They want to be important (pride)
