The reason why I love John Browne's playthroughs is because they are actually PLAYTHROUGHS. He (and in this case Oly) actually include the raw audio direct from their guitars, rather than miming over the original song.

I'm not the biggest fan of thr emo style clean vocals but I do like some clean vocals in my metal ie killswitch etc. I was more commenting on brownes playing and technique and his style. I find his use of chords and phrasing to be unique. Imo

I cling pathetically to the time I was tracking guitars with John Browne and he called my downpicking "annoying tight". This is clearly the greatest thing I will ever achieve while this amazing man and his amazing bandmates continue destroying it, time and time again. But no one in this whole history of mankind has EVER structured riffs like John and Ollie do.
