Unless EARS are TRAINED on AUDIOPHILE QUALITY EQUIPMENT and SETUP Most Will Not Hear a DRAMATIC DIFFERENCE. IN A BLIND HEARING TEST, Unlikely The Gear Would Be identified repeatedly. Knowing and Understanding the Science behind Audo One would Choose what Is Known by specs to be Chosen for Use. That Knowledge would bias Judgment and understandingly so. For Critical Results every Time you would want that Not important in real life Scenarios not being judged. Unless issues stick out like a sore thumb And are obvious to even The untrained. Is it a WANT or a Need? To justify spending $3,000 on one piece of gear that a piece of gear Much less can do almost as well that most listeners would even be able to notice subtle differences. GREAT GEAR IS MARKED UP FROM CURVE SET BY DEEP POCKETS. Demand and Supply. Nothing New

We need a "Cracking the Code" episode specifically dedicated to John's right hand technique. He's clearly doing some really complex stuff with precisely when he plants his pinky or lifts his wrist off the strings. I've been studying his playing for a while to try to work this out.

Awesome vid Mr. Brown! I love these CL100 heads - very similar to my VH4 but the CL100 is an ounce more percussive in nature. Have you compared the Fryette CL100 to the Diezel VH4? I would love to know your thoughts on these two?

so I noticed as he was showing the theory section that the tuning is in DADGAD..does this mean that everything we're learning is going to be in this tuning and not standard or a regular drop tuning? Wondering cause this seems amazing but I don't want to confuse myself learning this way then playing other stuff and the finger placement on everything else is altered
@JohnBrownemonuments

@@philliptamez you can get through the theory section with regular drop (albeit there are also theory lessons in standard!)

I think the guitar looks sick BUT I can’t vibe with the bridge the ringing and how it feels on my palm, the pick ups sound too muddy/compressed for big extremely dense sounding chords that I like to try and I also pick really hard so I think active pick ups just don’t work for me in general lol great demo and solid price point for what you get. I feel like this is a shredders dream to play and looks like it could be a big seller for the younger guitarists community

I may be wrong about this, but I am pretty sure we perceive lower notes in a chord more than higher notes because of the way our primary auditory cortexes are arranged. We are more tuned to frequencies in the upper mid range, but I think that changes when multiple notes are played simultaneously. I took a perception psychology class that covered this, but honestly I may be misremembering it
@JohnBrownemonuments

@@finnancahill2644 I thought we were more sensitive to higher notes because baby screaming frequency, I guess I don’t really know either anymore!

As an owner of several Schechter's, including a C-1 40th anniversary edition, there are very few other manufacturers with the specs and overall greatness that is Schecter. Especially at their price points compared to others with WORSE specs at double and triple the price! Thanks man! Happy new year brother!
