This song is call "The powerful death" They play part of the instrument in Machupichu and also in the studio. It doesn't matter where they recorded. They sound the same in live or recorded. Video is not live, but studio work is an art. It is until today, the only band authorized to play in Machu Pichu, in fact it was the first progressive rock band that played in Antarctica in the early 80s. A great artwork as only Los Jaivas know how to do. They are one of the highest peaks in the music of Latinoamerica. A mixture of folks dances, classical music and the sound of jazz and rock instruments and acoustics from our lands. In addition, the poetry of the Chilean Nobel Prize winner Pablo Neruda dedicated to resuscitating the life of the extinct Inca inhabitants of the citadel of Macchu Picchu. What more could we ask for? I used to listen to Los Jaivas when I was a child in the early 80s. My father had (and still has) many cassettes of Los Jaivas, including this one, so they were my 1st favourite band ever (before The Beatles, before Blur and before many others). Los Jaivas are from my region (Valparaíso region), in the center of Chile.

The Jaivas internalized Chilean, Andean and Latin American native music, plus Latin American folk music (Spanish-native-african mix), and all this with progressive rock of their time (70s - 80s) with nuances of classical music. All this when the original vocalist (Eduardo "Gato" Alquinta) lived for a time with indigenous people from South America and transmitted that experience to the other members of the band.
