Traditionally, thousands of years ago, Ayurvedic Vaidyas (Doctors) were Vaishnavas. They understood that their capacity to heal was dependent on their connection with Vishnu / Krishna. Man proposes. God disposes. They did not hide this nor were confused about this. They understood that the source of Ayurveda, Sri Dhanvantari is a partial incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Due to the influence of Sankaracarya, the personal spiritual aspect of self-realization became compromised to the point where today the goal of remembering VIshnu is rarely taught.Ayurveda has become secularized, but it was not originally, just like the soul of yoga has also been removed and reduced to exercises and breathing. God is much more than a light. Thank you very much for sharing and your dedication John, and David. Please examine the great contribution of A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada's translations to get the goal of the Vedas...prema pumartho mohan

Great great information, especially those infos on meat in the diet are important, coming from somebody who lives a certain way of life that most people would almost always connect with veganism or at least vegetarianism, respectively the denial of eating meat! I always have to think of the hundreds of generations before us, who have been - until "modern civilization" and alike - significantly stronger, healthier, more connected, more brave etc, all of them eating animal products and/or meat, with the exception of those seeking highest levels of spirituality, who'd also meditate for months in a clay hut while eating one or two plant based meals a week and who also made tradeoffs that most of us wouldn't.
@LadyCoyKoi7 жыл бұрын
You should do a research on famous vegans and vegetarians... you will see that the most intuitive, imaginative, creative, innovative were mostly vegetarians. Stop justifying a murderous diet. We don't need it anymore.

meat is not good for anybody, most esp the poor tortured animals. even if 'humanely' slaughtered, eating the flesh of an animal is taking violence into one's body.
@ThomasAT868 жыл бұрын
That is very close-minded and dogmatic (which can lead to severe health problems as many practitioners and alike, ex-vegans etc can prove to you). There are hundreds of generations before us who ate meat and/or at least a significant amount of animal products of which all were significantly more healthy, strong, brave, honest, connected,... Aswell as considering that sometimes even more animals die, plus forest area, so we can grow plants. Plants also naturally come with an enormous amount of animal life which gets killed aswell when getting farmed, aswell as all the organisms within the soil. There are fungi who kill very small animals/organisms for the plant to feed her nutrients. Also, plants actually secrete substances when they are in danger (getting eaten). Then there's also a massive depletion of the soil, especially with soy. And I'm not even talking about non organic produce. There's a lot more to this whole thing, and there's a LOT of lies and misunderstanding out there when it comes down to veganism/vegetarianism, that plant production is overall better than raising animals and so on - in the end it's a huge revenue-based industry (raw, vegan, paleo, gluten-free, you name it) and those who decide to go vegan for a lifetime and not for a period of time because their body told them to (for healing purposes), mostly have the goal of reaching the highest spiritual level which comes with a traidoff and a very different lifestyle than most of us have, which includes meditating in a clay hut for a few months a year while eating 1-2 meals a week and getting very skinny,... because animal products have a frequency that interferes very strongly with this goal - plant based food too but has very little impact. That said, very few people may be able to live on a plant based diet for a lifetime and be ok, women will be better off than men as scientific research shows (conversion of some plant based nutrients into the form that the body can actually use, which is the form that would come in an animal product).
@aryanasaiter61507 жыл бұрын
peacerebelgirl * Plants take nutrition from the soil, animals take nutrition from plants and convert the atomic structure to a higher vibration. If we consume animal sources we can convert this vibration into our bodies. Our brain needs a higher vibrational frequency to work correctly. Brain Doctors have recognized that we need certain chemicals, especially today. These animal proteins can feed the Neurotransmitters. That can cure depression and Altimers disease , Epilepsy, depression, etc. Read The Edge Effect by Dr Eric Braverman.
@shravana1087 жыл бұрын
Aryana Saiter, If we give a higher vibration to animals by eating meat, who will be eating us,(!) in order to give us a higher vibration??. Animals and plants don't disturb the balance in nature. They kill and eat animals because that is their dharma. A higher awareness is achieved by eating less. Brain doctors are not spiritual teachers, let alone masters. The soul does not need meat. If our minds are aligned with our souls, our bodies will get exactly what they NEED (which of course is NOT always what they WANT)
@LadyCoyKoi7 жыл бұрын
It is very amusing to think that you and many others like you believe that you receive higher nutrition from the flesh of animals who are vegetarians. You clearly don't see the irony behind eating vegan animals. Why have a middle man (i.e. vegan animal) when one can obtain the nutrition directly from the plants and fungus (mushrooms are the best of friends of humanity). You know what helps with enhancing neurotransmitters and especially enhancing endocannibinoids? cannabis and seaweed, which has shown cured depression and Alzheimer disease without sacrificing calcium, which eating meat does by the way. Eat animal by-product and flesh and you are risking calcium depletion in your bones. The China Study by T. Colin Campbell and M.D. Thomas M. Campbell II has proven the dangers of eating animals. One can obtain one needs through plant and fungus... no need to be a graveyard of other species of animals. You and many others like you eat flesh because you want to, not because you have to. Stop bullshitting yourselves into thinking that torturing, killing and eating a baby cow has any other benefit than for your lusts for flavor. Stop looking for justification for your murderous diet.
@LadyCoyKoi7 жыл бұрын
Uh hello! People can wash those chemicals off the plants, you know. Can't do the same for meat (love to see the meat-fuckers wash chemicals off of ground beef). Also plants aren't given high doses of hormones and antibiotics in the same way as animals are. >_> Then again I don't worry about those things, because I placed more value over having a yard to grow my own food than putting obsession of materialism like other people do.

We live in a world to which eating of animal flesh should be viewed as a preference, not a necessity. Stop kidding yourselves into thinking that torturing, killing and eating other species has any benefit at all when most plants and fungus has shown to do so much more without sacrificing any nutrients to digest them (one needs high levels of calcium to digest and absorb the animal-protein; seem to me this beats the purpose of being healthy). There was also the whole moral/ethical concept against eating flesh... a murderous diet is still a murderous diet and if there is the way to avoid such a diet why would you want to still practice it other than for selfish lust and gluttony. I can understand/sympathize flesh eating humans over the difficulties of transitioning into being better beings. I'm right there with them. As a vegetarian transitioning towards veganism, I'm weening myself from eggs, cheese, and milk. Unless I raised the animals on my own to produced these, I'm part of that mechanism that profits off the torture and violence towards other species. The first and most important step is to admit the problems at hand and do whatever one can to avoid being part of it, which I'm doing. There is also the other aspect of this animal consumption, it can be part of that addictive stage that these men speak of. Addiction of power over another being. If one eats flesh they are supporting the most Nazi-ideological belief... Might is right. Famous Vegans and vegetarians Gandhi Jane Goodall Voltaire Paul McCarthey Lo-Wing Lok Gustav Struve Pythagoras of Samos Leo Tolstoy Frederik van Eeden Isadora Duncan Amilcar de Sousa Antoni Gaudi Leonard Nemoy Einstein Epicurus Confucius Leonardo Da Vinci Many others within this list who disprove the idiot who state that people who were smarter, creative and innovative due to meat consumption ought to do his/her research before spewing lies to justify their murderous diet agenda. I love how they talk about the importance of sleep for weight loss. I lost a lot of weight due to switching to a vegetarian diet, but no where near as much lost from sleeping more. Rebooting the body as a whole is extremely important. ^_^

Age is the price of intellect. Ego is the price of self-righteousness. Dr John Douillard is suffering from an inflated ego as is Dr. Frawley. The burden of humility had left them defenseless, therefore they armed themselves with intellect. Don't envy them.

Our higher Self is Christ Consciousness, we all have the inner "being" of what love is and how to live our truth. Giving IS receiving: meaning when we give without expectation and out of love, we experience Receiving, which means we feel true heartfelt love and satisfaction of having shown love to someone without expecting something in return.. Wholeheartedness is living from the heart, not the mind. When we do what our heart tells us to do, rather than our mind (the ego) we are moving toward transformation back to our true self/higher Self. Love is the answer to everything. Awareness and accepting what is, will transform your life. A Course in Miracles and A Course of Love are wonderful books channeled by Jesus. The Jesus Trilogy is another wonderful (easier to understand) book to read. Blessings to all.

As soon as one fully surrenders to Kṛṣṇa, he becomes a Vaiṣṇava. Kṛṣṇa promises to relieve His devotee from all the reactions to sinful life. It is a fact that a fully surrendered Vaiṣṇava is completely out of the range of material infection. This is to say that he does not suffer the results of his previous pious or impious actions. Unless one is freed from sinful life, one cannot become a Vaiṣṇava. In other words, if one is a Vaiṣṇava, his sinful life is certainly ended. According to the Padma Purāṇa: aprārabdha-phalaṁ pāpaṁ kūṭaṁ bījaṁ phalonmukham krameṇaiva pralīyeta viṣṇu-bhakti-ratātmanām “There are different stages of dormant reactions to sinful activities to be observed in a sinful life. Sinful reactions may be just waiting to take effect [phalonmukha], reactions may be still further dormant [kūṭa], or the reactions may be in a seedlike state [bīja]. In any case, all types of sinful reactions are vanquished one after another if a person engages in the devotional service of Lord Viṣṇu.”

The inner planes are not more important than the physical. In fact the physical is supposed to be an expression of God Consciousness and a self realized soul at the grossest level. That of Christ Consciousness. It is just at the opposite end of the spectrum.
