This car is a pre-facelift,the front end plastics always take a bashing due it being quite low compared to other 2 seat sports cars,mine had most the corner lower guards busted or completely missing,finding the parts for this car are to say the least, challenging,mine has the n52b30 (3.0si) engine,looks nothing like the engine in this car,and parts are wildly expensive.do you get what you pay for? in truth? if it's serviced and clean..keep hold of it,as an aside,the cooling system can be an issue,cracking expansion bottle being the common one and water pumps giving up the ghost and cam cover gaskets can leak and drip onto the exhaust manifold.keep it clean drive it mean..they're not perfect,but when they are it's a joy to crack open on the road and have some fun.

Not going to lie, I expected there to be either no oil at all, or a sludge that would barely come out. And it really looks like someone cut that skid plate apart, rather than just taking it off to access something. Unless they ran over a curb and ripped it off, causing those skids down the driver side. You have quite the project on your hands, sir!

I think that with the two wheels as badly bent as they are, that a curb was hit for sure. LOL

That noise sounds like your Disa valve. Pull it and check it.
