Wow, I kid you not, I have been trying to remember the name of this game for years. I played it when I was ten years old (now I'm almost 20) and could NEVER remember the name. It even got to the point where I figured it had all been a dream. Today I saw it on a game list and it all came back! This video gave me so much nostalgia. One memory I have of the game is feeling emotional because of the backstory behind the kid's dad... but I can't remember why. I guess I'll just have to play it and see if those were only ten year old emotions, haha.

In my personal opinion nothing needs to be enhanced, since the graphics are already perfect. And if somebody makes a port, I'll applaud them. And just keep playing the PS2 original.

I remember renting this game for a day and I was so into it the memories were so faint but somehow I managed to find it. Environmental Graphics look very good for PS2 era. But admittedly as a kid these games looked more immersive lol

I approve I would definitely buy the game again as a PS2 Classic. It is a fun game and also has favorable reviews to boot. I'm surprised its still not on the Classics line on PSN but a game like Ruff Trigger is.

I got so weirded out at around 4:00 because I recognised both the sfx for someone entering the portal but also when it closed. It took me a while but I pinned down where I recognised each from. The portal entering sound is the sound the dalek lasers make in doctor who and the portal closing sound is the sfx that plays in Jurassic Park 3: DNA Factor when you pick up a base DNA capsule at the end of a level.

This intro always confused the hell out of me. It felt like it should have been at least twice as long. He names off all the antagonists but how does he know who they are besides one of them being on tv? Even if he knows them as humans how does he recognize them as lizards? Why is he even strapped there? It really bothered me as a kid especially since I wasn't familiar with the trope of lizard people pretending to be human so there was even less context

Scaler is a great game! the the environments are awesome, the jungle music is pretty good and the gameplay is fun... the down side is the generic story and characters and the villains are pretty lame.
