We still attend church services at another location and we still love the Lord with all of our hearts. But I can tell that something's changed with me because I haven't been around the church environment as much as I used to. The message that you gave in this video, I really needed it. I don't know when it was originally recorded, but it was released four days ago as of this message, and it came to me at just the right time. This message hit home for me. My husband is spirit bound an wont ask for help an I can only do so much . I lay hands on him an pray . Things seem to leave him but then it's really his choice to want to be free. Why does he keep going back to the sin?? Knowing its hurting our marriage. I feel he just doesn't care. It shows in his actions . I pray an been praying for almost 3 yrs now an still he stays bound

Religion And Mental Health Hyperreligiosity is a psychiatric disturbance in which a person experiences intense religious beliefs or episodes that interfere with normal functioning. Hyperreligiosity generally includes abnormal beliefs and a focus on religious content or even atheistic content, which interferes with work and social functioning. The investigation of religious and spiritual issues in anxiety lags behind research on mental disorders such as depression and psychosis. Religious beliefs, practices, and coping may increase the prevalence of anxiety through the induction of guilt and fear. Religious delusions are characterized by increased conviction and pervasiveness, permeating to a greater extent the individual's whole experience. Their presence is associated with more severe symptoms, higher medication dosage, and poorer prognosis. Religious delusions occur in a person whose predominant thinking is religious. Faith is part of their personhood; delusion arises from psychiatric disorder. A person with religious belief may have a delusion but only if they have a concurrent psychiatric illness. Falling under the umbrella of obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), scrupulosity - also referred to as “religious OCD” - is an obsession involving religious or moral matters. Scrupulous individuals are overly concerned that their thoughts or actions might be considered sinful or violate moral doctrine. To identify with a religious ideology and call it the only truth and way, can only lead to tremendously bad, negative effects - prejudice, bigotry, and all kinds of violence (just think of how many wars have been carried out throughout history in the name of God and religion).
