The red star he showed off is not the power up, but it is still in the game. You get it for completing the 100 purple coin mission on the gateway galaxy. It's the only red power star in the game. However, the eyes look different, so maybe it was an earlier version.

Judging by the mustache, I'd say that that Old Luma more closely resembles Eldstar from Paper Mario than it does that Mario Party star guy. It has the same sort of gentle-looking vibe as Eldstar, while the Millennium Star just looks really pissed off to me.

based on your previous video i was curious if you're going to do a beta easter eggs, glitches, or hacks showcase for OOT 64 since there's actually a lot more stuff to cover than what i saw in the previous video.

oot has one big issue - most of the stuff is removed. There are still a lot of animations in, but accessing the stuff from the E3 beta is extremely hard and contains almost no information. Some things can be restored, but a lot of things just went missing :/ We might make a video of it at one point tho cause a lot of the planned concepts are still known.

I'm aware of that :) there even are ways to access at least two of these animations in the actual game without gameshark codes. Animations, Items and GUI just wouldn't be enough - besides, ocarina of time was quite (!) different in its beta days that it would make me sad not to at least try to cover that stuff. Which is especially hard since the interesting things besides animations aren't even in the games files anymore (Or at least most of them) :/ But yeah, maybe we'll tackle that one day regardless

true but what i forgot to mention was mechanics, there is a prerelease mechanic you can access in the game via gameshark code hell i know 4 of them: Manual Hop, Manual Jump, Replace Rolls with Jumps, and Unsheathe items without using them right away

I'm not an expert but I get the feeling that octopus queen was likely going to have a bunch of thorny plant tentacles to be a nuisance while you ran up to her to get her to slam her head down to attack it similar to a giant Piranha and the tentacles would likely get more vigorous as the fight progressed

Why doesn't anyone ever mention the Mario animation where his body parts come off and drop as if he was broken like a dry bones? It's a very questionable animation and I would of loved to see it been covered as its... Well... Not something you'd see in a Mario game.

I am pretty sure the punching and diving animations were from the original idea of the Mario Galaxy, Super Mario 128 which was supposed to be a sequel to Super Mario 64, but the game eventually evolved into super Mario galaxy.

it's not the same. Check the eyes of the red star model and the final model of the red star that made it into the game. Truth be told, I did not think of that at the time - mostly cause it's under "Tico" in the game files, but it's definitely not the same.
