Watching this had me thinking of how rare a man like your dad will be in the future. I'm 40 and know very few who have that kind of knowledge! Lucky to have him!

Your window header should have been 3 2x8 southern yellow pine with OSB spacers. It looks like you used spruce witch is not strong enough, especially with the snow load. Cladding the walls in OSB is great for hanging things but keep in mind that it burns quick in a fire. You might think about covering it with 1/2" type X drywall.

I have eagerly been anticipating this one. You and your dad are doing great work so far on the new spot. Would love to know how much $ (ballpark) you get into this reno. That room is gonna be much better suited for the laser cutter/merch setup. You continue to be an inspiration for the hustle. Keep it up and welcome back to the northeast! Does the new garage get wet at all?

New Hampshire looks beautiful. I hear that there's a lot of Irish descendants in New Hampshire. On watching your father work it's clear to see where you got the hands from. What about a bit of a ground work to level the inside and outside the shop floor?

Great progress. It's going to be a lot smaller than the old shop, but if you're organized, as we expect you will be, it will be adequate and easier to heat than a bigger space. Just too bad you don't have enough indoor space to start on the bus during the winter.

Are you now thinking of building the bus conversation at the new shop? And wise move converting that side room for the laser stuff, it's exactly what my thoughts we're but maybe a smaller window in the outside wall for more light ! I've been subbed since you fetched the bus and watch from the UK

Put your money into buying your own place instead of spending it on renovating other peoples properties
@brndn666Ай бұрын
Pay attention to his videos, he’s already talked about his plans on his own shop in the future. Unfortunately you gotta start somewhere and this is one of the things he’s gotta do to get himself where he wants to ultimately be. I imagine him spending this money to upgrade this shop is going to cut him some costs in his rent which is also very helpful. John’s comes a long way in the last decade I’ve been following him; I doubt your opinion on this holds much water.
