It pisses me off when someone "thumbs down" one if your great 3 string Cigar Box Guitar lessons, which are essentially free, without leaving a comment, very cowardly... Uncle Mark, disregard those and keep on rockin'

I continue to be amazed at the number of great lessons you put out, all covering classic songs everybody loves. Keep up the great work, Uncle Mark. I like your new MotherShip. I just bought a 12'x12' guitar workshop that looks like it was made by the same company as yours. I love mine!

Hi Mark, I love your version here, but I bought your first book and the D & E chords / fingering are listed differently , I think the way on this video is easier, (KISS )😃
@unclemarkscigarboxguitarlesson3 жыл бұрын
easier is not necessarily better. lets say the voicing for E (barre chord 999) I say its easier to stay on the lower end of the neck to make the chord changes quickly 424 makes much more sense. Learning G open D 202 E 424 will be, in the end faster because you dont need to go up and down the neck in big jumps. The drawback is there are certain things the E 424 doesnt allow you to do.... the rock and roll rhythm for one. I think a beginner should be able to do both voicings and decide whats best for the song and personal choice. But, if you want to play the instrument you need the lower shapes. I mean we're only talking 2 different shapes here E 424 and E 999 of D 202 and D 777. I hope this makes sense to you and anyone else with the same concerns. Cheers, UM
