I performed with Doc in the late 80's with the FSO. He made that trumpet sound like "the coming of the LORD." And Tommy was a gem to The Tonight Show Band.

I don't believe most people realize the level of talent ALL of those band members had. They were true headliners each in their own right. Well, when playing together....MAGICAL! That Tonight Show with Johnny Carson, had the best host, the best sidekick, the best house musicians, and many of the largest celebrities found anywhere as guests. And we all got to enjoy it night after night. So blessed to have been sent off to slumberland that way for so many years!!!

I saw on TV, only once, soon after Carson died a psychic said Carson spoke to him, saying he didn't want his wife to worry - that he's happy over here and he's glad to see his mother again.
