@Julie Lea I agree but I think he was referencing his judgement being off as to the ring he picked for Amber therefore the reason he wore it. I do recall reading somewhere he gave her a different ring. To me that speaks volumes of a person when the ring that is given to you in proposal of marriage is not acceptable to you (unless of course it doesn't fit). The person who gave the ring to you has put a lot of thought into it. Nothing Johnny ever did pleased her.
