They said it was important that we understood this because it is important to know that fact when interpreting the results of a psychological study. A good example is Mars getting hotter correlates with the earth getting hotter (this is actually happening right now). Mars getting hotter is probably not causing the earth to heat up. What I don’t get is how the mainstream media can say “This trial hurts other DV victims from coming forward out of fear of being accused of defamation.” I have seen this sentence in so many places.
