A few things to take note of: 1. Blake and Ryan have been known to hijack movies and scripts to take them over, so they can secure a franchise. Ryan did it with Deadpool, and the director stepped down because he was having the same stuff happen to him that Justin is now experiencing. 2. Blake and Ryan took over the directing, and literally rewrote the script and ending for the movie with Justin - in fact when there was a test viewing, the audience overwhelmingly choose Justin's ending, and yet Blake forced her own edited ending to be released instead. Then she took over the marketing, and tried to make it into a chick flick franchise, introducing her hair care, dresses, florals, etc. she had the audacity to threaten the studios with a lawsuit if they allowed Justin to be at the premier of HIS OWN MOVIE!!!! Instead, he was escorted with all his friends and family down to the basement, where he was allowed to watch her accept everything that should have going to him. 3. Turns out Ryan Reynolds is apparently a controlling and jealous person that holds grudges. It's since been discovered that Scarlett Johansson was due to work on a script with Justin Baldoni - which was set in motion before Blake was even cast for the role in the first place for this current movie. Ryan forced his way into the movie, and basically used this as an opportunity to hijack a whole movie/series, and use this as a competition with his Ex wife Johansson. 4. There's apparently a morality clause in Justin's contract for ownership rights over the film - the only way to get him removed legally, paving the way for Blake to take over, was to abuse the very legitimate 'me too' movement to garner sympathy by accusing him of something that broke his morality clause. Look deeper into things before 'taking sides' just because you like the 'character' of the people involved. You don't know them personally. You're welcome.

Baldoni was jumping ship from Jones to Abel, who he preferred to work with. A scorned Jones, whose husband is a partner with the talent agency, WME, which was repping Lively, Reynolds and Baldoni, had cause to illegally obtain Abel’s text conversations with the crisis PR rep, Melissa Nathan (which Baldoni obtained after seeing the writing on the wall as Lively’s theft of his film became a fait accompli). Jones effectively “switched sides” from Baldoni to Lively. And when this woman is described by anyone who knows her, it seems like she one of those whose eyes would turn you to a pillar of salt 🐍

Yes, I saw another lawyer’s commentary on this and she called the texts “stolen texts”. Highly unlikely they were subpoenaed. It just doesn’t work that way with CRD filings. No evidence is usually attached, definitely nothing subpoenaed.

Wow I think the texts between Ryan and Justin are relevant even though Depp’s lawyer dismisses them because of the time line. Justin’s text reads as genuine and well meaning when Ryan jumps right away to how Justin can do things for him and how Justin needs to regard Blake as a creative partner. Nothing about friendship or getting to know him whatsoever. Ryan doesn’t give a sh1t about Justin, nor does he admire his work. He sees Justin as someone he can use to get to his end. Ryan was already setting up Blake as a creative partner and possibly implied that Taylor was also in agreement. It was an overture to taking over.

I think, they were planning everything since the start. She didn’t sign the contract and pushed to get the payment straight away, and then she used the fact of not wanting to promote the movie, because without the contract, they cannot force her to do so. Love Ben Chew but he's obviously not familiar with all the details of this case. If he were, he wouldn't be so agnostic. He probably didn't know that Justin was responding to a 1: 49 am novel BL had just sent JB where she claims to be Khaleesi with her two A list dragons that are going to breathe fire on anyone that crosses her. His response was intimidated and apologetic and over solicitous. These late night/ early morning communications were routine for them.
