Why would you go through the whole process of drawing up a complicated and expensive contract without the parties having agreed to anything. Most of the artist is contacted prior to that step and the agreement is verbally discussed in most cases in person or by phone. Sometimes it is done via email, but that is a slow and tedious because of the amount of information that is exchanged. Once the artist agrees to the terms, the contracts are drawn up. Then it is reviewed and minor changes made where necessary.

With Jack Whigham's testimonial, the public gets a clear reality of the acting's business side. We see how an agent manages the career of an actor as important as Johnny Depp. And as the trial is televised, we see how, for each movie that Johnny did since his divorce, he had different types of salaries according to the types of production. We get accurate facts from people close to JD rather than rags or obnoxious TV hosts who don't know what they're talking about. And with these infos, we know how much money he made for these movies and how Johnny is not afraid to work on a lower pay like he did for "Waiting for the Barbarians". Which is important to note as some people tend to depict celebs as cupid individuals while forgetting that they are artists and that they can work on smaller budgets for smaller salaries if the project is interesting enough to participate and produce. With this man, we know how the deal for Pirates 6 occured. And there was indeed a big project meant to happen. It showed how before that editorial from AH, Johnny still received offers and contracts between May 2016 and December 2018. But unfortunately, this got all ruined up as he said because of AH's editorial which shattered all upcoming Hollywood movie job offers. And as for AH's lawyers, they again prove how they keep have inane questions and how she goes nowhere. And how they love to use the UK trial to create buzz in the medias and in the public that goes nowhere and just makes Amber's lawyers more irrelevant, rude, and obnoxious.

Abusers dont show their true colors until they've groomed their victim properly, so Amber was probably really nice and sweet to him in the first year or so of their relationship, so it's no surprise he liked her initially.

I was rhinking that too, but I feel like maybe her point is that AH didn't cause JD to lose his reputation with disney and his chance for pirates 6, as they supposedly weren't planning to have him in it anyway. But it's really vague so I'm not sure.

31:10 Look at Johnny's lawyer behind the mike and Camille when Mr Marks sits at the bench. Both are smiling from ear to ear. He is clearly a slick lawyer, rockstar witness and highly respected by them. I cant wait to see Elaine try to attack and patronise him.

It’s really nice to see how Johnny depps team all huddle around him in a protective bubble. A reassuring touch on his arm, bring him a drink , share sweets. And it’s genuine not just because he pays them. All I see from Amber Heards team is distance and attitude towards witnesses.

When it comes to Amber's attorney's, if I was a juror, their tone during questioning would really make me distrustful of their line of persuasion. They are extremely rude and passive-aggressive, sure...but it's their very obvious try-hard attitude that's the main problem for me. When they cross examine someone testifying on Johnny's behalf and it isn't looking good for Amber, they plunge into what can only be described as throwing wet noodle shaped realities at the wall to see which one sticks. I've noticed this is particularly awful when Amber hands them notes during Johnny's attorney's questioning of their witnesses. My impression is that Amber is making up something for her attorneys to ask that is specifically designed to create reasonable doubt about the witness' testimony, but it's so absurd and such a stretch that it's pretty obvious it's an attempt at manipulation. And it is THAT, that if I was a juror, that I would find highly offensive and would be why they would lose any credibility in the power of persuasion in this case. Not to mention the female attorney equated Bipolar Disorder with Borderline Personality Disorder...even Dr. Curry was like 🤔. How ignorant does one have to be to not know the difference between the two disorders? 🙄
@MrBinx-hd5fh2 жыл бұрын
I think a good example of that, as far as Amber suggesting questions, was when they asked the psychologist whether she told her husband that she was involved in the Amber Heard case. It finally came out that it was because the psychologist told Amber that her husband bought the muffins they ate. Amber twisted that into meaning the phychologist violated doctor/client priveledge and told the husband who the muffins were for. It's a perfect example of how Amber will twist people's words, and situations, to make herself the victim and the other side the villain.

AHs lawyers, this woman in particular, is needlessly disrespectful, condescending, contrary, overtly rude, disrespectful -- all seem unnecessary & obvious attempts to intimidate witnesses. It's also gives the impression those may be the the AH A-hole requirements to be on her team... Witnesses have remained cooperative & respectful making it even more obvious that the decision to use this "style" of defense may prove harmful to her case. With ther prioritizing being intimidating, celebrating perceived "gotcha" moments that aren't even significant. That JDs team isn't constantly objecting, nor badgering & speaks to their having no need to be using theatrics, performing as they've chosen to do... We're only one witness into AHs case being presented & their "expert" witness, Dr Hughes has been grossly out of line.
