A friend of mine worked as a secretary of production in the making of the pirates of the caribbean . She saw mr. Depp everyday for a year . She said that he gently said hello to everyone he encountered . He kept by himself in his cabin always with a book on his hands. She was surprised by his behaviour because she thought he was a sex, drugs and rock' n roll type of guy but he was actually the opposite . A very calm , respectful and solitary man.

I think it went beyond his fans, I saw thousands of comments from people who were never really Depp fans show their support though having seen the evidence. This whole ordeal, while painful, has helps so many people who have been abused through their own trauma. I believe that this is literally what happened. I remember reading about an experiement with growing plants. one group held positive thoughts toward seedlings and the other seedlings had no thoughts. guess which group grew the strongest? that always stuck in my mind. From this montage I learned that Johnny Depp, while intending to clear his name via the defemation case, didn't seem to have realized the WAY that it would clear it. Sure, they wanted it televised, but I think they thought it would become influential to the public's perception of him AFTER the jury reached a verdict. He didn't realize how the fans (a crowd of whom probably appear in small numbers everywhere he goes) would continue multiplying outside of the courtroom. The massive interest of millions of people to parts of the trial as it was broadcast on KZbin, etc. was unexpected, I think. It's about halfway through that Johnny seems to realize that this moment, not later on, is when he needs to start basking in the appreciation of his fans (and the world as it would turn out). He starts behaving differently, playing to the crowd and forgetting his pain (we forget that a rehash of his abuse by Amber was likely incredibly painful) I think that this montage reveals Johnny as he comes out of his shell and starts living again.

He deserved all the support he was given. AH beat him down physically and mentally. It was proven in all the recordings she made. After losing everything he did, he was afraid everyone would believe her lies. He knew they weren’t true but she had him believing everyone was going to side with her ( a woman of supposed DV ). Stay strong JD you won and the world now knows the real story.

There were the diehard fans at the beginning but as the trial progressed and people watching realised the woman whose allegations they'd believed was actually a liar the full impact and realisation of what Depp had endured dawned on people - that's when more vocal support could be heard. it must have given him a lot of reassurance and hope.

I think getting the truth out about the abuse was therapeutic for Johnny. The world came to see the craziness he had to endure. It put him back on solid ground psychologically. He’s an inspiration to us all, that we can heal and go on. Best wishes for a happy life Johnny.
