I am a lawyer and have been to many proceedings involving divorced couples. I feel that I have a good perception of what is going on and I trust my instincts. This whole trial has been heartbreaking. There can never be a "winner" in the true sense of the word. What is important is that Johnny is cleared of wrongdoing. Whilst he may be far from perfect and plagued by his demons, his demeanor has been outstanding, and his legal team have served him exceptionally well. There are just too many inconsistencies in Amber's testimony, and I am almost convinced that Amber is playing the victim. If Johnny doesn't succeed, I will lose faith in the justice system. The "me too" movement must never preside over justice.

@@scrubelite4915 Like I said, Amber screwed her case up when getting off the legal hook should have been fairly straightforward affair. Depp is a troubled fellow that have struggled over the years with alcohol, pills and drug addictions. That dosent automatically makes him bad or violent, let alone a habitual woman beater. But... outside of the circle's of heavily biased fans - and particularly among those who have dealt with druggies or drunks - it do however raise a red flag of doubt when it comes to his bold claim of never acted violent nor did something that can be described as abusive toward Ms Heard Traumas, mental illness issues, anger management issues, provocations, intoxications, blackouts... and so on. These are things present in many if not most assault and domistic abuse cases . All his lovely ex-wife needed to torpedo his case against her and getting declared innocent is the jury to see a sufficient sized red flag of doubt.

She used the METOO movement as a means to bolster he career, she latched onto it and put herself on a pedestal as a representative for abuse victims, knowing FULL WELL that she has been abusive towards her partners, to her friends, perhaps even her sister. I know Camille got a lot of recognition - and rightfully so. But I think Chew had the faith in JD that won him that trial. What an absolute sweetheart of a man.

The saddest thing is to know that no matter what will be the verdict, it just brings closure in a legal point of view. It sadly won't change much the point of view of people who don't believe in him, also the brands he might have worked to or even the movie producers, they might not want an actor involved in a public trial like that.

That is the point of the 50 million. Also, whose fault is it if JD doesmt earn more millions in future? AH? Lawyers here? Jury? No. The fault would lie with people like you and me who work in business out there in the world, and WE choose not to support people like JD. There are PR/HR/talent/casting directors/etc - ordinary white collar, non-famous, executive, office types like you and me who WOULDNT DARE to hire men like JD with a "checked past", "a record", "alleged", "reported" case. So whose fault is it really for the future? Until today, I still hear and see mainstream media and people out in the world saying things like "JD gets away with it because he is a blockbuster star while AH is unknown. Men of renown abusing women and getting away. Whose fault is it? Whose fault is it? Dont blame the wrong people for the future. The past 6 years was AH's fault. But not the future.

nonsense he's the biggest star and gifted actor of his generation accusations of violent abuse deterred that he is vindicated now, he is innocent of DV/SA, zero proof and he was the victim of smear campaign millions support him, and so will producers, etc they don't care about 'public trial', the DV was the issue there's always a 10% of obtuse fools, misandrists, etc, regardless

Ambers drug addictions too needed to be brought to the front and hard as Johnnys. But everyone downplayed that she was stealing coke from Johnny and was on quite a lot of prescription and mdma daily. Since earlier in her career everyone she worked with knew she did heavy coke and she was warned she would be tested , it was around the time of Lindsey Logan’s drug problems. Instead amber this whole trial was painted as doing drugs occasionally and that is not at all what the case is

don't know if you guys caught it but ben chew was trying to contain himself at 11:35 when he mentions johnny's children. he gets very emotional and has to take a small pause before continuing with a bit of shakiness in his voice (sounds like he's on the verge of tearing up). Ben was very passionate and connected to this case, as well as the rest of the legal team and it really shows they believed what they were doing WAS justice.

Aside from his substance issues, JD truly seems to be a very kind, compassionate, and caring man. JD and his team have EASILY provided overwhelming and irrefutable evidence that AH made up all of her outlandish and heinous claims. If the jury can’t see that, I swear I will lose faith in our justice system 😅. AH’s only rebuttal to every single testimony is that EVERYONE else is lying. Every single person. Even though SHE has been caught time and time again LYING under oath. Absolutely blows my mind… The jury had better get it right. Ngl though I will miss watching this case 😆
