Actor Johnny Depp is suing ex-wife Amber Heard for $50 million for defamation in connection with Heard’s 2018 Washington Post op-ed, in which she spoke out about being the victim of domestic violence. Heard’s article did not specifically name Depp as her alleged abuser, but according to Depp’s lawsuit, it relied “on the central premise that Ms. Heard was a domestic abuse victim and that Mr. Depp perpetrated domestic violence against her.” Amber Heard is counter-suing Depp for $100 million.
The defamation trial began Monday in Fairfax County Circuit Court in Virginia, with jury selection completing on the same day. It’s common knowledge that the accuracy of a witness lowers over time and it’s very important to listen to the questions and answer only with what you know. I think she answered what she knew about her own personal life, and is careful not to jump to conclusions to only what she had witnessed. Slowing down like that is the best thing you can do…. What are they asking and what will answer my question? Are they asking the correct question or are they misinterpreting my answer? She was a great witness… very believable. I think she understood it was “her” testimony. Not depps, and not heards.

As a male victim of domestic violence I approve of Johnny standing up for ALL of us by doing this. My relationship was almost identical to this, a nightmare. I had a “pretty little blonde girlfriend” that broke a beer bottle in my eyes and did numerous violent acts then claimed she was the victim and almost ruined my life. Same story I know who amber is, my ex was amber. Everyone believes a pretty blonde girl. Whether Johnny wins or not the power is with the people. Boycott ambers movies. For an hour and a half she could tell us chapter and verse about the mid-1960s through 1990s and then when it gets Depp's drug use she could not recollect a single thing about the 2010s? Lots of words about how she organised things for Johnny, Vanessa and children and not one word about how she welcomed Amber into their family. This woman is more than old enough to be Amber's mother never mind sister-in-law. Christi was his personal manager and isn't ironic that didn't like seemed annoyed at being involved in Depp's personal matter? Constantly using the word "we" who is "we". Was she constantly talking about staff or who? Now riddle me this if Depp couldn't go and buy a book as she testified who in this long litany of "we" the staff was bringing Depp drugs? The facts are so obvious. AH was the aggressor. She even spoke aggressively. Her psychologist had to do sessions with him and her separated because he couldn't finish a sentence when Amber was in the same room. It was supposed to be therapy for both and normally couples go there together. His sister told how they had to speak very calming and watch every word around Amber. This is when you are with a choleric person and Amber is a fully-developed psychopath. She did drink two bottles of wine every day and she did lines of cocaine. Having been with a parent when they passed, this was heartbreaking. When she had her tears, I started as well. It's a terrible day when you sit with a parent as they pass. For Heard to have filed for divorce the day after his mother's passing - monstrous, truly monstrous; deliberate cruelty.

After my mom’s stroke, leaving her severely disabled, I was terribly harassed, threatened and stalked by two of her crazy „friends“ for almost a year. They physically attacked me in the rehab, insulted doctors and nurses - they were banned from the house. I had to ban them from my house (where they showed up) in the presence of police, after they kidnapped her from the nursery home. They banned them, too. When I called the police I told the dispatcher: „Excuse my honesty, you better find them before I do! I don‘t need to be protected from them - they need to be protected from me!“ All the officers were fully understanding. I still want to cry out of anger and this was almost 4yrs ago. And additionally the bf of my narcissistic half-sibling (I call her „the toad“) threatened me and did everything to alienate her from me, in the worst time of my life and succeeded. Watching this trial helps me heal. Btw my mom passed last year as well as my two dogs, sadly. 😥😔💔🙏🏼 I am not afraid of loosing anyone anymore. But I have become very careful - most humans are alright, but some are plain evil or just bad. And I have become a living narc detector and repellent. 😁❤️💪🏼 Yes, the truth sets us free!!!

Listening to his sister - I think it’s pretty obvious what’s not being said: She had to protect her brother, and one of the ways she had to do that way by placating his ‘wife’. She had to pretend to listen and agree just enough to keep Amber for going nuts and potentially hurting or antagonizing JD even more. When you deal with people who are abusive and narcissistic, they will never listen to reason, logic, or facts. They will always circle around, blame others, scream louder and lie. His sister was in an impossible situation- her brother loved a monster, she knew she was a monster, but she also needed to protect her brother who was in the monster’s trap. And just because some drinks or is addicted to drugs doesn’t mean they are automatically abusive. I don’t believe that JD got physical with Amber, but I believe she made him so angry that he hated her, and said things that aren’t healthy. Can you imagine if every horrible thought you ever shared with a close friend was aired to the world? And HE opened himself up to dealing with this so he could clear his name. 100% Amber is an abuser, a gaslighter, and a scab-picking narcissist.

I did not see this until now. I must have started fallowing the case after this. He really took responsibility for his mom. Both him and his sister, even though their mom made bad decisions while raising them. I understand better why he stayed with Amber as long as he did. I can see why he must have tried to give everything for the relationship to work and I can see why he showed mercy towards her in the past. I never fully knew this about him, but he truly wants to see the best in people that touches his life. That is just how his mind is. I hope he can now find peace in his life and I hope he can do things he loves and enjoy his interactions with his fans.
