Christi Dembrowski - Johnny Depp's Sister
Actor Johnny Depp is suing ex-wife Amber Heard for $50 million for defamation in connection with Heard’s 2018 Washington Post op-ed, in which she spoke out about being the victim of domestic violence. Heard’s article did not specifically name Depp as her alleged abuser, but according to Depp’s lawsuit, it relied “on the central premise that Ms. Heard was a domestic abuse victim and that Mr. Depp perpetrated domestic violence against her.” Amber Heard is counter-suing Depp for $100 million.
The defamation trial began Monday in Fairfax County Circuit Court in Virginia, with jury selection completing on the same day. There is a possibility of celebrity witnesses testifying, including James Franco and Elon Musk. Tune in to the Law&Crime Network for daily coverage of this high-profile trial.

Johnny has to let the court dissect his whole life for the public to see, just to prove his innocence because of some lies told by a narcissistic abusive ex. This is the world we live in.

Not guilty people are put on trial with their life destroyed or close to destruction based only on defamation made. The media conspired running manufactured evidence as facts without due process. ie smoollett, Russian Hoax, Rittenhouse etc USA courts needs an overhaul for it is also weaponized for evil to peddle their agenda.

I think what’s different about her testimony compared to so many other testimonies is the complete lack of ego in her words and demeanor. She’s not on the stand to prove how smart she is, to be snarky, to be combative, or to even give the most pristine account of things. She’s there to provide her and her little brother’s truth bc she loves him and her heart breaks for him. Her words and mere presence say so much about this case.

You can't abandon them in their time of greatest need when they're old and sick or you won't be able to live with yourself. And now he is gaining another blessing through the people who testify for him being a gentle soul, a good father to his kids, generous to friends and family. I hope the jury pays attention to the fact that Johnny avoided his mom when she was on her abusive rampages just like he did with amber and she would follow him room to room taunting him and calling him a baby for not fighting with her like she wanted, she reverted him right back to that scared little boy just trying to get away, even down to just letting amber hit him and get it out like he saw his dad do with their mother it’s crazy, god I hope he wins this because amber is basically telling on herself with all her “evidence” her and her team has presented, Johnny did not hit that woman ever and I firmly believe that.

I look up to him and hope I will be able to treat ny family to such a beautiful life they deserve, and to be there for my mother and parents to help her transition into her next phase of their journey. Even if he doesn't win, he has cleared his name with all of the people who care enough to pay attention. Fighting creates an adrenaline rush, and just like Meth, it can be addicting. Stage Fright might have also fed it. Amber did not know how else to get another dose of that same strong adrenaline blend. Trying to argue with Johnny, who was trying his best to deny Amber her 'drug', was futile and frustrating. Male adrenaline addicts usually do extreme sports or jobs like Test Pilots, and become admired for their bravado. Their wife lives a life of never knowing what day will be their husband's last. Two different sides of the same problem. Too bad Amber wasn't more athletic!

When Johnny Depp was filming the “The Rum Diary” in Puerto Rico, I was 13 y/o and obviously loved him (still do). I waited for him outside of the building he was filming in, but couldn’t get an interaction with him because they took him away in a golf car. I ran after him and when we got to a closed parking area away from the crowd, I screamed “JOHNNY” he turned around, looked at me and told the driver to stop the car, he got out walked over to me (I was so in shocked I couldn’t move), hugged me, calmed me down and signed my shirt. He didn’t have to do any of that, he was far and in a moving car. He made that little 13 y/o life. He has an amazing soul. I pray he gets the justice he deserves. Thank you “JustJared” for taking the pics of one of my best days ever ! 😂

Johnny's lawyer is the bomb. When he's on the sidelines you see him cracking jokes with him. And when he's up asking the questions he asks short, concise questions... when there are objections, he politely insists as to why his question is good, and whether the judge over-rules or sustains the objections he says thank you your honor. He even cracked a joke with the witness at 39 minutes or so. Did you see the big smile that came over her face? I'm sure it's very stressful being on the stand, and the burst of humor even under that tension I'm sure was very helpful to her, keeping her composure.

Johnny's sister is a brave, humble and wise woman with a heart of compassion. I can relate to their family story. It is an accurate depiction of growing up in a cycle of domestic violence until someone in the family chooses to break the cycle. When your brought up in that culture it seems normal until you become aware of how unhealthy it is and make the decision to change your own patterns of relating. ( new tools)

I feel like he's afraid to even look at or possibly make eye contact with his sister or else he will completely break down in tears. You can almost feel the pain radiating off him & it breaks my heart. 🥺

There was a long minute in the beginning of the video where he closed his eyes while looking up and it was heartbreaking. When he opened them again it was so sad you could see the pain in his eyes.

I'm 10 minutes into this video and out of respect have to stop. This man is not a murderer nor a woman abuser. There is no need for him to be subjected to publicly airing family complexities. His sister clearly loves him. I wish the judge would just end it. I know that's not how it works but the scars from this trial will never go away for him. Amber will relish in it even when she loses.

When the lawyer asked, why did you continue to communicate with your mother? I understand exactly why, because I did the same thing with my mom and dad. I understood their upbringing. They did what they were taught from young age, they didn't know any better, but they tried. When you can understand your parents upbringing, you'll begin to understand yours, and perhaps forgive them and you your self, make the choice to break the cycle and give your children a better life than the one you had.

Johnny allowed them to live rent free like he’s such a caring human being, he deserves justices. He trust people who he loves and it’s so sad to see how amber betrayed that by being abusive

You can feel the pain and embarrassment between Johnny and his sister when she had to answer questions about him and misheard's relationship. Christy would look at Johnny with hurt in her face and Johnny's head was down towards the table when when Christy was answering the questions
