This was just as good as it was a year ago, 6 months before that and maybe even a year before that. Johnny Dollar never gets old.. I enjoy it every time I listen to it... Thank you for bringing back the memories

Im 64 soon too be65. I never knew growing up radio shows like this. TV was 90% of my families home entertainment. Back then, they had very good script writers leaving imaginative thought for the viewer. Not so with todays TV. Its so nice too have this New too me, instead of favorite old tv re-runs too watch. I was depressed with no abc friday night movie and such, nothing too look forward too do. Until now. Thank you soooo much!

The only thing wrong with listening to Johnny Dollar is that all the other programs on current TV seem trashy and unimaginative. The writing is so wonderful on these shows .thank you thank you thank you

Nobody better than Bob Bailey is Johnny dollar
@billmalovich90504 жыл бұрын
This is my favorite OTR show. And Bob Bailey is my favorite Johnny Dollar. I've listened almost the entire available YTJD programs. And I've listened to quite a bit of Jack Benny and Abbott and Costello, Fred Allen and many others. Blondie is another favorite of mine. I discovered this gold mine of entertainment in 1995 when windows 95 opened the internet wide open. What a find!! Thanks to all who save and upload these programs. One complaint. Bob Hope the most famous entertainer of them all doesn't really have a lot of shows available. For a guy who was on the radio almost since it's inception,he has an awfully small number of shows available. So, I guess I'm asking those who may have some of his shows on cassette or maybe privately recorded shows,would you please upload them. Thanks in advance!

Your quite a LOOKER there kidd! Nice too think some of your Generation appriciates good old imaginitive provoking ebtertainment! The mind is a terriable thing too waste! Excuse the mis-spelled under and over punctuation. Im 64 and do my best to tollerate this form of commuunication, with bad vision, arthritic joints and hands and a touch of forgetfullness!

One of the more intricate shows, but if you listen to them with a 1950's ear, they're all good....

Dear Mr.Dollar,, If it were still in the 50's, I'd probably just Love listening too the Republican Convention or the DNC. They were a bit more honest and had character too match there.sacrifical service too LEAD back then. Yours truely,, Ed Lipton!

Thanks for posting so many of these Johnny Dollar programs. Do you have any Sam Spade starring Howard Duff? If I’d love to listen as I’m sure many others would as well.
