I was raised on Jack Benny, George and Gracie Burns, The Bowery Boys and more. The multi part Johnny Dollar shows fit in with the great radio shows of the past. Once the Internet Archive gets over the severe hack they suffered from, you can get either single or multiple section Dollar stories, plus hundred of others. Thank you for sharing this, since they went down, I’ve been seriously missing them.

Les Crutchfield writes a GREAT story!!! YTJD or Gunsmoke, he's one of the best. Like Bob Bailey. Only prob. is, the 5 day episodes are spent mostly on theme music and recap.The story is great.

So each full episode is made up of roughly 4 15 minute segments… why not edit down the running time of each segments bumper music? By doing so , the stories can be more readily enjoyed without the intermittent interruptions of the lead in and lead out Orchestra music.

I was born in 1972.. and grew un in LA and KNX has the drama hour at 9pm every night..loved it all the way till I left LA 2000...got locked it all the way through...unfortunately KNX ended the drama hour run..But I loved it and still reminisce about how great Gen X was.
