It's been a couple of weeks ago now that I discovered Johnny Flynn ans his music. I know... which stone was I laying under this whole time. Well, I guess it's never too late... So now I am listening to his music and lyrics, oh, my god, his lyrics! every day and my heart gets warm with every song. He as a person, AND as a talent is a GIFT to all of us!

I met Johnny last night after an amazing show at the Hackney Empire, I am not very good at meeting people so it a bit awkward and all I could manage was 'great show'. I wish I had just spoken my mind and told him how inspiring he really is!

You might be overly harsh on yourself. He probably gets the typical "overly emotional admiration" from other people too often. He was probably relieved to meet a fan who kept it short an simple. He'll think of your compliment a whole lot more, than the compliment of someone who takes up all his time telling him how 'fantastical' he is. Cause he knows he's still just a human. Simplicity is under-rated. Love yourself, you did good.
