Oooo I love this song since I first heard it back in 1977. That Moog bass synthesizer, very tight drums & horns, great singing, "ain't that go", very clear distinct guitar sound in a great solo. It's just a PERFECT song. Rest in Peace Johnny, you tought us what real funk is! Right-on bro 👍

Por eso infinitas gracias. Y les tiro bandas de aca de los 70 que dio inicio al rock de aca , Manal, Pescado Rabioso, Almendra, Pappos Blues.

Giving thought to the instrumentation available in 1977, and I had no real concept how to play any real instruments back then, I'm loving that keyboard sound even better in the 2024 than I ever appreciated back when the song orginally came out. I'm thinking it was the beginning of the bass synthesizer that catapulted Bernie Worell to his success and others in the R&B world
