Sounds like the interviewer was more interested in hearing himself talk then letting Johnny express himself and his ideas

Interesting that Richie Powell's name was mentioned. He died a year later in the auto accident that also took the life of Richie's wife and, most notably,the great Clifford Brown. 😢
