He’s always the perfect beautiful gentlemen… he’s the most beautiful soul inside n out… I just saw him in concert in January n I’m going to see him again in June… Johnny is a treasure to the millions of people around the world.i can’t get enough of him n I’m so sorry I never saw him in concert years ago.. what a voice. Just an all around lovely magnificent gentleman. Stay well so hopefully I will have many 7:48 more chances to see is this giant of a man, 7:48 again n again in concert.. god bless you Mr. Mathis thank god for you… sending lots of love to you… ❤👏❤👏❤👏❤

That's great a Life Time employment doing what you do since the age of 13. I started @ 22 in 1959 was still at it 2015. The surprise was in 2017 Who's Who 😊 sent me that years Life Time career award 😮. I'm slowing down! Don't give up the ship. You betcha I'm lighting a fire to get back in the game 🎯 anew. He could sing for 2hours yet at the end of it hes still as cool and relaxed as when he first started the concert. He knows his vocal depth he stays within this. That's why haes always so relaxed so comfortable. Not a bead of sweat or frazzled look at the end of a show...still neatly spic & span through and through...So humble, modest & always giving credits to his orchestra, other singers or composers...never about himself...you are a legend johnny....we love you soooo muchhh xxx God bless Stay safe come do a concert in London pleeeeeeaaassseee

Thanks for this, saw John in England when I was 15, Sheffield, he had been playing golf through the day at Moor Allerton in Leeds, was very relaxed by the evening and I think he enjoyed the show. I'm now 56! Still come back to his albums all the time. Will always move me I guess and such a lovely and genuine man - listen to him talking about his dad and family, so much love. Bless you John. An inspiration.

Quando eu era criança em 1968,eu não sabia nem lê meu próprio idioma, eu não sabia o nome dele e muito menos inglês! Eu brincava na rua da minha tia e escutei a voz dele,eu saia correndo para vê-lo eu achava lindo e sua voz também, na casa da minha tia não tinha TV eu corria para D.Maria vizinha, e só eu na sala assistindo esse cantor maravilhoso.

Nos idos dos 1970 (Eu ainda adolescente), havia uma novela da TV Tupy onde o tema era a música "A Time For Us" (tema de Romeu e Julieta). Meu Pai, certo dia, chegou com um LP dele em casa no final do dia. Comecei a ouvir. Não parei mais. Comprei todos os outros em seguida e os tenho até hoje. Obviamente, ouvi muitas bandas, outros artistas, mas esse foi o que mais me marcou. Hoje, ouvindo novamente, simplesmente, viajo no tempo. Tenho uma irmã que se chama Evie (Ivinha).
