I was blessed to work on a music video with Johnny in the late 1980's. We actually recorded the video in his home in this pool room. He started lip-syncing to the track i was playing back, then he lifted up his head and started to sing with the track. With the water from the pool and the glass ceiling the acoustics were amazing, was a great day for me. This house is in the Hollywood Hills above the Sunset Strip and it has belong to the movie star Jean Harlow.

I was there in person when Johnny fell off the stage. I believe it was in August 1964 or 1965 at the Forrest Hills Tennis Stadium in Queens NY. He would always bow extremely low and this time he over did it. I remember his opening to the show was a short version of "Put on a Happy Face" For me, Johnny is the greatest singer of all time.

I was a professional skier who was born in Hollywoor. At least in the Olympics you don't have to sell your soul.lile you do in Hollywood . what l have seen in parties in Hollywood, Vegas l want no part of anymore. Johnny Mathis seems like a decent person but l.am sure he had to deal with some harrasment. I did but l don't put myself in those situations anymore.
