I would really love for a full coverage of the MSVR manga that takes place in the UC 90s. It even had a panel is j the first few chapters where there's a clipboard containing pictures of possible Johnny Riddens. One of which is this particular iteration from Hasegawa's work.

This really comes across as some fictional retelling on two figures who disappeared after the war by a Zeon Sympathizer or perhaps someone from Zeon to give ace pilots the Rommel treatment post war.

The only difference is, Ridden and Matsunaga were actually legitimately good people. Much like WW2 both sides had both good and bad people.

This manga definitely had same creator with Crossbone gundam right? Johnny Ridden here look too similar look with Tobia and Shin Matsunaga too similar with Barnes Gernsback 😂
