As I searched KZbin for this group I was blown away by the lack of attention to this point in time. They draw you in because it’s ridiculous and then they do their thing. Original songs that are catchy, well thought out, and sung by really good voices. Why I haven’t heard of them before or why they haven’t gotten the recognition they deserve I’ll chalk up to being from Philly. Santa Claus doesn’t even go there. 😂

Honestly, that obvious prejudgement (that any rational human being would have as soon as they walk onstage) is an integral part of their shtick. The outlandish costumes, the turn around of a middle aged man in tight outlandish pants to shake his no-longer-firm arse…to the swanky dresses with outgrown underarm hair is all part of the show. And it works beautifully - as does the quirky lyrics. All humorous but with obvious musical talent. I could not help but be reminded of Frank Zappa and, also, Bonzo Dog Band.
