It's about a cat-hybrid called Ryula who takes up the job of a hitman to look after his sister Sapphire after their parents disappear one night. One day, he kills a member of the Nevae (Dark Wizards) for millions, and in response the leader of the Nevae, Gwall, takes his sister as ransom. In order to get Sapphire back safe, Ryula has to kill whoever Gwall tells him to. If he fails, then the Honest Bond on his wrist still take his life.

Johnny, I say this with zero hyperbole when I say that after watching your content for nearly a decade, this might be my favorite video you've ever done. Between the totally natural segues to give you any excuse to talk about stuff besides the game like how to make a good grilled cheese, to the almost detective noir style and filming of the review until everything suddenly clicked and you were able to just unload on the game in way that felt both over the top but simultaneously believable. I absolutely LOVED this video and I'm sorry the game broke you, but I hope a fantastic start to finish video journey like this made it a little bit more worth it. It's all of the best aspects of Hollow Knight with a heavy focus on Sekiro-styled parry-based combat, all within a world influenced by eastern culture (and as a little fun fact was made by the same dev studio that made Devotion, a horror game that's best known for being banned internationally because of an easter egg that mocked the Chinese government. It's not on Steam despite the soundtrack still being available, but I believe it can be purchased from their website).

I too, encountered a game that broke me, the game was GoldenEye: Rogue Agent, it was just flatout bland, boring, and uninteresting for the entire game...that is, until you reach the final level, where they pull some of the most egregious BS imaginable, if you know, you know. It got so bad, that, I had to step away from it for more than a month, but a few weeks back as of writing this comment, I finally overcame the game...and now I never have to play it again... That game served as a severe mental block, but with it being done and dusted, it feels like several tons of negativity have been lifted off my back... Honestly, never have I played a game that I considered "Frustratingly Boring" two words I never thought I'd ever use to describe a game. I usually prefer to keep all games I acquire for my collection, but GoldenEye: Rogue Agent is one of the very rare instances where I want to return it to the place I got it from, I just never want to see that game again. (It didn't help that I made a poll gauging interest in a playthrough of the game...if only I knew what I would get myself into) Sorry for rambling on for too long, I try to give notorious games a chance, but Rogue Agent broke me in ways I never thought possible, but for Mortal Kombat: Special Forces? I think now, I'd rather just avoid that one.
