There is a wonderful book I am reading called: Funny Man. I am listening to it on audio book and it is totally fascinating all about Mel Brooks a.k.a. Melvin Kaminsky. His early years and breaking into show business and his struggle to get where he is now. He was often not a pleasant person especially to be married to. The book was well written By someone who was an expert biographer and shows the candid side of Mel Brooks both good and bad. The book is fantastic

Mel is a legend that spans generations. Blazing Saddles is THE funniest movie to ever have been made and when you follow the story, the line by Gene Wilder, you know...Morons, Sums it all up. In the end it shows that if you have a good heart, it doesn't matter what color your skin is. Except the Irish....Ah schitt, even the Irish.
