I disagree. Hollywood was (and still is) a huge social engineering project with the intention of being destructive to families and relationships. Audiences let themselves be mesmerized by these glamorous "movie stars" and, consciously or unconsciously, emulated their lifestyles and lack of commitment in relationships. Goldie was just a flirtatious wind-up doll who, according to contract, pretends that a movie about cheating had some deep cultural significance.

I had the pleasure of meeting Goldie in the early 90s at my friends Christmas tree lot in Beverly Hills, she had been coming to order a tree for several years.. Such a sweet, gentle, funny woman.. I still have the picture of her and I sitting with our onsite Santa Clause as if we were brother and sister 😂

I fell in love with Goldie when she done that movie Overboard you could really see her humor and she played with Kurt Russel who she’s been with for decades. I once briefly bumped into Goldie. She and Kurt Russell were coming into St. George's Bldg. on Ice House Street in Hong Kong as I and a friend were going out. I was a nobody. Just worked there. All I could think of saying was "Look! There goes Goldie Hawn's husband." They both turned around and laughed. Very intense eyes.

Funny ! Her daughter is twice as old now, as she was then ! Her daughter is unbelievably 45 today ! Why we don't understand how precious life is, until we are older, I don't know !
