Easy as pie. Grew up using this knot now at 60 I learned the name. Use it for floats on the bait fish traps.

That's a nice easy one for ppl / kids to start on. I find when some ppl see me tie a knot, they'll ask how'd you do that.?.show me.. And bang they're hooked. The rest say ..here you tie it.. Merry Christmas. ATB.. N.ONT CA.

This is a serviceable and useful stopper. I rate it higher than the E-Stopper also higher than the triple fisherman’s bend just under the butterfly stopper

Personally I use your 'rabbit-ear' method as you outlined (first of three variations) in your previous 'long'-vid (once the slip part is tight it dresses up quicker for me). I use it a lot in the garden when I'm running string through stakes etc. Thanks Johnny.
