that was very kind of them to give bald those historically priceless gifts when you guys visited their home. it was such a part of their own personal history that i was very surprised that insisted in giving it to bald. it’s probably the closest thing they could have done to giving a part of themselves and memories to someone they just met. such generosity and hospitality.

Top video. Brought back so many good memories. 15 years ago I was living in Lithuania. Vilnius and Kaunas. To date; the best time of my life. I am an Englishman and have lived in quite a few countries but Lithuania was the best. Lost a few teeth in a brawl outside a bar in the old town Kaunas but still love the place. Left Vilnius to go to Russia but after a year came back. Beautiful everything; beer, food, women, architecture, nature, nightlife. Learned how to make fresh coffee straight in a cup. To date that is unique to Lithuania. So wanna go back.

There have been many places that I have had the want to visit, Vilnius, Lithuania has been really the first place that I could ever see myself wanting to move to. There are so many things that make a great city, however it always boils down to the people. Such warm, inviting, polite and gracious citizens. As much as I love this episode, it seems to be a turning point for Bald. I’ve never seen him have to do deal with fame like this. It’s apparent it makes him uncomfortable. I just hope it doesn’t encourage him to quit KZbin sooner (a year ago he said he had maybe 9-12 months left to finish out the former Soviet countries then quit youtube!)

What a fun video Johnny, and what a nice and authentic restaurant! I had an Irish friend living in Vilnius in 2019 for a year. He’s a foodie and was going to a lot of restaurants there. When asked about Vilnius, he said - Vilnius is one of the best places for nice food in the world (he’s lived in half of the world), it’s odd that no one is talking much about it and the country is not advertising it. So next time look up some more food places;)

I've never been to this country and I've seen this café only twice in two videos now, but I'm already in love with it. I'd love to hang out or eat in a place like this every now and then. It seems like it's quite easy to meet all kinds of people just like you did and make new friends. Very very interesting place. I agree with Axe. A friend and I used to do road trips every weekend an hour or two from our houses. If I didn't have to work we probably would have gone every other day. We had a website for several years and had so much fun together before he passed away a few years ago. Memories need to be made as often as possible.

@@airtrek1065 it is very good, the well is inspected and only when it meets all the requirements is it used for humans. Although, not a generation and the better from a self-contained source. Believe me, you can't find such delicious, icy water anywhere. And I have never had any complaints about it. Well, except that drinking such water on a hot day can catch a cold (spring water is a maximum of 5 degrees Celsius, usually 2-3 degrees Celsius) Very cold.

I am from Lithuanian and never could figure out why people bother buying bottled-water. It always the same taste/quality... why waste money?? Until when I started traveling and living abroad... You'd be surprised to know that over 80 percent of Ukrainians are in fact Russians that by mere chance of circumstances after Soviet union fell ended up on the other side of current Russian border and thus majority of them don't even speak Ukrainian, apart from being able to understand it. I can tell you that if you live in Ukraine for over fifty years and you still will never learn it, only Russian language will prevail.
