This is one of my new favorite 🎣 channels. Learning a whole new method through this. Haven’t bought any gear or jigs yet . I’m a super geek about doing my homework. The drop.. that’s why I never point my rod the direction the fish is running. Dirty Jersey gator blues learned me of that one 😭.

What line test do you recommend for the seaborg g300j. I'm going to deep drop in New Jersey on a headboat. I know they catch both large and small tile fish.

Great content guys! Question! What is your recommendation for a tile fish setup for the northeast canyons? Typically we would fish in 450 - 650 feet for tiles up here? Please list your recommended setup with electric reel, etc. thanks!!
@JohnnyJigsTV Жыл бұрын
Hi Toback, First of all, thank you for checking out our channel. For a rod, I would consider johnnyjigs.com/products/pro-jigger-plus-slow-pitch-jigging-rod?variant=33123400679523 Reel johnnyjigs.com/products/daiwa-seaborg-300mj-electric-reel Battery johnnyjigs.com/products/super-lithium-battery-dn1700-ns-with-shoulder-case-strap-charger I would also recommend calling the shop. We will give you a detailed description of all the gear and make sure you buy the correct setup the first time. 954-889-4915

why hand cranking and not using the electric to reel up?
@JohnnyJigsTV Жыл бұрын
We do use the electric sometimes. It's fun to fight them manually, and I feel you are less likely to pull a hook. The second thing is that the electric reel sounds terrible on film 😬
